Robertson was made to look a million miles better than he was by Laudrup.

Numan was utter class.

Papac was consistent and solid.

Wallace remains untested.

Robertson was here about 3 years before Laudrup and performing at the same level in that timeĀ

Not much in it they both have their plus points, but went for Sasa just now for his reliability and what he achieved.

Wallace had a good first season for us then never looked interested in the lower leagues! But he is starting to make up for it this season (still don't think he's a captain though!)

Wallace has already had to put up with shite from the yes voters when he came on as sub for them. Can you remember the jeers when he ran on. Fuck them!

Nope. That was Ian Black at Easter Road.

A team booing their own players is scandalousĀ right enough. Would never happen at Ibrox.

Ā

Oops.

Big Lee has been incredible for us.

i love the guy for staying with us when all other players who claimed to be fans fucked off. He was a youngishĀ guy at the time and would have had plenty options elsewhere. So for that alone the guy is a legend in my eyes.

I hope he gets to hold some silverware aloft soon as the Rangers Captain as that guy deserves it!

Couldn't agree more. Robertson bombing down the left and being picked out by Laudrup was always a joy to watch.

Its close though as Numan was class.

Robertson was a powerful player and it was great when he used to blotter wee McNamara around. The only negative was his final ball could be lacking at times. Numan had more quality but lacked the strength of Robertson - both smashing players though

Robertsons runs were superb. Him and Laudrup were completely in sync. Would love to see total of assists by the pair. Robertson is up there with Numan for me as best left back. Oh and Stuart Munro.Ā

Don't have any info on stats. From memory their was a frustration with Robbos final ball. A lot of good runs were being made by the forwards but sometimes Ā there was a frustration with the quality of the delivery.

remember back then a fullbacks main concern was defending. More recently we have opted for guys who are good at attacking but less effective defending - Like Tav!
