Aye but that guys a better footballer than Kyle.

Like many of his fellow players at Ibrox under Ally's regime, Kyle took the opportunity to improve his drinking, karaoke and pub sports skills and is now reaping the rewards.

In the old days you had no worries getting tickets for the big games.

You could bung the guy at the turnstyle, but usually the best time to get an odd ticket was the ten minutes before kick off when people were waiting for mates who hadn't turned up, are had unused spares.

Anyway one cup final day against cellic at Hampden we were pub crawling on the way to the game along the Victoria Road with a few mates who were ticketless and banged in to Jocky Wilson in a pub, and he gave us a couple of spare tickets he had, and did not want any money or a pint, as he already had one.

Don't know if he was a Gers fan or what but he stayed behind playing darts  and having a pint, whilst we went on to the game. .

True, though slightly boring story.

So I'll jazz it up with this reminder not to believe all you see on TV, one of the greatest cock ups of all time.

Yep, that's Jocky in the background pic.
