Captain Hilts 12,819
28 day loan. Some much needed competitive game time for him. http://rangers.co.uk/news/academy-news/thompson-moves-loan/
Inigo 32,526
Good. As with Hardie, we need to see if he can do it so that we know what standard of player we've got on our hands for next season.
WilliamFyfe 1,438
I asked the question before Good move for him
STEPPS BOY 73,890
If The gaffer has that much of a problem with Plastic pitches, then why are we loaning Thompson to a team that plays on one
Turnberry18 3,204
I think the manager really rates this guy; just not one for the moment. His time will come.
bombaybadboy08 15,660
The boy looks a real talent, so tbh he should be running the show in that league.
VladimirWeiss69 802
Just noticed Walsh is playing against Dundee, lets hope he does us a wee favour and scores the winning goal.

It'll also make him grateful for the Grass pitch and training facilities.
burnbank bear 342
That sounds a good move he should be match fit on return

Game time is the most important thing.
there'sonlyoneamoruso 1,724
I'm glad he's going out on loan, he'll learn more in games that mean something than he will in the U20s or stuck on our bench.
bluenoz 30,824
He should have been given a few more minutes in the first team. never looked out of place in the rare times he got a chance. I suppose Airdrie is a better option than the under 20's based on MW's latest comments.

It's the business end of the season mate and the players need a run of games to get match sharpness at a higher lever. mught see him in a few games towards the end of the season

As you say the lad needs to be match sharp. He looks as if with that match readiness he could easily be an asset in the irst team.

MayboleLoyal_atb 3,680
Is he not only contracted here untill the end of the season?
Pearson83 1,059
Seems lots people rate him and have high hopes. When he signed for us he was fast tracked into first team pool so warbs also must see something more than he has in few other young ones. Done well at man Utd youth level lot of players in his team then now in first team squad. Hope he does well and comes back and gets a chance
