Police scotland are planning to use the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) to snoop on fan web sites to weed out portential troublemakers planning disorder at the cup semi

A Police insider said " it will be an intelligence led operation.

The aim is to gather as much information as possible about planned violence and disorder so we can disrupt it social media and websites will me monitored and closed fan forums will be accessed as nessessary"

This is a step too far and a gross invasion of our rights and privicy.....for a football game?

Is it now a invasion of privacy?

Wouldn't have said so no, it's still an internet forum. Who actually goes on message boards to make plans to cause trouble anyway?

Probably be ran by a Laurel and Hardy Tribute act.

The snp and their stupid laws are turning the Scottish police force into a laughing stock, its about time the one's in charge said enough to this shite, and resorted to actually going after proper criminals instead of people singing songs with the use of words that the fuckers don't know the meaning of.

Every week there is the full repertoire of IRA songs. Never more so than at away games. Little if anything happens.

However we are brought into the mix because we are the target. This offensive behaviour act is aimed at our behaviour, our songs, as Mulholland has stated.

There is no parity. It's an anti PUL and indeed anti Rangers agenda.

Their sites may or may not be monitored. Ours will be. As wrong as it is folk need to take heed of warnings.

Edit.

And anyone who thinks their meddling is about preventing disorder is naive. That is the cover story, our words and songs are the target.
