I'm not really sure how people are outraged at a cup final being a 50/50 split.

They're outraged because it's difficult to justify giving a team that can't fill half their ground on a regular basis half the tickets for the final.

If we go on the logic that it's a final on neutral ground so the split should be 50/50 then Peterhead should've got half the tickets for the challenge cup final

No because Peterhead would never have sold them.

If a team can sell half the tickets at a final they're entitled to it.

If we played Barca in a European final we would expect 50% of the allocation even though their attendances are a lot higher than ours.

That comparison is fucking stupid.

We should never have agreed to a 50/50 split.

So someone who allegedly support Hibs and does not go to more than a handful of games if that comes before someone who is actually a season ticket holder who turns up in rain, sleet, wind or snow .

Disgusting we should ask the sfa to explain themselves when we played them just there at their own shite hole Why so many empty seats?

Again the real football fan gets shafted no matter what team they support.  Actual fans who go to games should always come first.

Were Peterhead in any danger of selling 20,000 tickets?

As stupid as mentioning us selling 95% of tickets in a final against Peterhead!

It is quite stupid, aye. Why should we get a 50/50 split with a team that's average attendance is less than half of their cut, though?

Because they have the demand to fill a 50/50 allocation.

Mock them as glory hunters, aye, outrage at a final being 50/50, come on.

They may have the demand, but, do they deserve it?

The only teams in Scotland that should maybe get 50/50 with us and Celtic are Hearts and the Sheep imo.

Their team made a final, yes they deserve it. Glory hunters or not.

They're absolutely entitled to 50% of the tickets. They'll sell them. It's a final at a neutral ground, why shouldn't they get half the tickets?

Half of their allocation will be bought out by the east-end brigade.

Think 21000 is to many tickets for us, as a new club id expect at most 12000 odd.

Cant wait for our first ever proper final, ill be there with my union jack WATP GBTQ RFC4LYF

At least try to fit in a bit.

Slow the eff doon, you beat me to that.   What happens when the hivees don't sell all their allocation?

Would end up in a) empty seats or b) fans not being segregated, whereas with some thought and planning the allocation could have been proportioned and included segregation.

So unlike the SFA to get it wrong.
