centenarystand 2,227
Classic King Billy on a gable end from the town to Sandy Row and some classics on the Newtonards Road.
NamibianBear 1,851
I served over there during the troubles. Because of the symbology, some are (or were) actually quite scary. I hear they are even doing tours around to see them now?

If you served in Londonderry the murals of the guys wearing gas masks were pretty intimidating!
Sam English Loyal 945
The best ones are not in Belfast. There is a cracker in Coleraine. Few good ones in Ballymoney. Few really good ones in Londonderry. The one at the bottom of our street is pretty good too. Larne gun runners centenary.
Sam English Loyal 945
The Larne gun runners mural. If any of you have ever stopped off for a few pints before getting on the boat, you'll know exactly where this is ?

We were advised never ever get into a black taxi In NI. Especially the ones around the city airport on a Monday morning when returning from leave. Unless I was certain that it was a Shankill or Sandy Row one. But if you're a tourist you'd be alright. You'd have to listen to a lot of auld shite about the poor oppressed gaels and pay handsomely for it though.
