Warburton Video Interview With BT Sport

Recommended Posts

A good interview that was and you have to say the interviewer asked the questions and then let him answer.

Maybe it was a slightly different scenario from the chaos of a 'presser', but even there you'd think that the interviewers would have the decency to let him answer without bombarding him with stupid follow ups before he's finished with the original question.

Never knew he was at Brentford for 5 years! If he was prepared to stay there for 5 years then am sure he will be here for years to come. Good to hear him speak confidently as always. He has realised quickly that the mhedia are rhabid up here and he has continued to branch out with sky and BT giving us good coverage.

Love Warbs.

Only a couple of those years were as manager.

He is straight down the line honest, that's for sure, fair play to the board for appointing this man and giving him a blank canvas to restructure top to tail, it might all have went wrong but it turned out a super appointment.

Offers will certainly come along but the man only has to have a look around him on a daily basis to see what he has got already so it will be a tough decision to make when the situation arises, I did read somewhere that the average tenure for a manager in Englands top divisions was something like 10 months so that's nowhere near enough time for any sort of structure to be put in place and implemented, imo he looks to the manor born to be our manager.

He is going to end up a Legend up there with our best, he knows what is needed to be a true Rangers manager andwould surprise me if he got wound up by tactics used against some of our previous managers by both the media and the great unwashed.

A fantastic interview and the transparency that we want. Warbuton is well up to date with what Rangers is all about. The only thing I would add is next year the fans must back him 100% and be patient as there will be some lows however the highs will outweigh them.

The most important statement in that interview is that he is happy with the backing from the Board; that is so significant for us. Hopefully this man takes us far. The potential of this club cannot be overstated; if he achieves success on the foundations of this season then it could be amazing for the future of the club.
