BlueSuedeSambas 53,781
What would you like to see happen with him? I can't see him being a big part of our first team so I'm hoping he goes out on loan again, I'm just not sure where I'd like to see him loaned to. On one hand Ray McKinnon is a pretty well thought of coach and he clearly trusts him which I think a player that age needs to make the step up from youth team/reserves to first team so I wouldn't mind him taking him again and continuing to work him. On the other hand, he's the Dundee Utd manager now and while people might say it's cutting off your nose spite your face. I don't want them getting anything from us. What do you think we should do with Hardie next season?
Poetry_In_Blue 1,043
I think a lot of it will depend on whether or not we sign a new striker or two, I personally think he should be more involved with our first team and if Clark is released this should give him a better opportunity. We will need a larger squad next season with possibly a bit more rotation and because of that he might get more of an opportunity to show what he can do. j1mgg 3,766
He should be on our bench, and getting the odd start here and there. Should of been ahead of Nicky Clark the past season.
Smile 26,601
He will get another year on loan at Raith Rovers but would rather see him now getting a chance as other players will be away.
WGOH 2,344
Would be good to see him get the chance on the bench, however, I'd like him to go to a team like Hamilton or Partick Thistle a team nearer the bottom of the league and still have his say in how quick we win 55 . kanjo 26,328
Loan him but not to those scummy tramps in Dundee.
Inigo 32,526
I think it'll be too early for Hardie. Given the demands we're likely to have next season, he needs to go on loan for another year to prove himself conclusively. I'd hope he'd get a loan to a top division team next season. (Blatant copy and past of my answer in the transfer section).
Bellshill_Bear 1,105
He's had His loan and done well. Stick him on the bench and give him 30 mins every other game. Mince her starts affecting games, give him a few starts and see where it goes
ForeverBlue1872 463
He has to go out on loan to develop more, he's not going to do that sitting on the bench, getting a few minutes here and there.

Turnberry18 3,204
He will become a big player next season. He has a great first touch, and his use of the ball is fairly impressive.
Bearsden bear 2,376
As others have said we should use him from bench to gauge the level he is at right now....his performances from bench will dictate whethere he is ready/good enough for regular 1st team involvement. Ageee with this. The odd apperance from the bench won't help him at the moment.
theclothmonster 1,707
Hardie was one of the main reasons that Raith were the form team at the tail end of the league. He did far more in his short stint at Raith than Clark did in a whole season playing for the runaway championship winners. If it wasn't for Hivs attitude towards our club I would say they would be an ideal loan move for him as he will see a lot of the ball rather than the balls constantly played over the top at Raith. Maybe a Hardie loan to the spoon burners as part of the deal for Cummings.
Courtyard Bear 41,357
Back out on loan but send him down South to a decent level of football.
giffnockger 4,840
Maybe as a sub next season, would much rather Hardie (even though I have hardly seen him play) on the bench than Nicky Clark. That goal at Kilmarnock though was fucking special!
Ryan_1 1,136
Unless he shows something in pre-season that can't be overlooked, ala Barrie McKay, he should be sent out on loan to develop. We should be after a top striker this summer to help Waghorn, I personally can't see Hardie being that man. Sitting on the bench or playing reserve team football does nothing for his development. TheMotor 2,208
Hardie is going to succeed somewhere and I hope it is at Rangers but he needs to start showing it with us next year. I hope he stays and gets on from the bench and some cup starts to build up his experience. I know Warburton views loans differently to many other managers but I think if Hardie goes out next season he'll likely be done with us. DarcheVinny 1,003
If he isn't going to feature in the first team, he will need to go on loan at a higher level than Raith Rovers are able to offer, to further his development. A bigger team challenging for the Championship title, be it Dundee United, Hibs or Killie, would obviously be a step up from Raith. Opinions of those clubs is absolutely irrelevant when it comes to developing our players. I'm not sure if a club expected to battle against relegation in the Premiership (anyone other than Celtic, Aberdeen and Hearts) would be interested in him yet. The Godfather 71,878
Needs to be a loan for his development then see where we/he is after that. A loan to the championship would be ideal as I can’t see him getting game time in this division given his inexperience.
King Jela 20,361
As said above, I think a loan at a better level would be beneficial for us and him. Regardless, I hope he's starting for us soon. A likeable boy, a bear and clearly talented. It all comes down to him at the end of the day really.
the goal machine 7,801
Wouldn't mind seeing him at either Partick Thistle or Hamilton.
CoplandStandBear 995
Send him to Dundee Utd to keep Hibs down or Falkirk if they don't go up, keep them both down.
onefootwillie 1,518
I would get him out on a loan for the whole of next season. Ideally he should go to someone in the top division . If he has performed out on loan then he should be ready for us
AlBear. 8,499
I'd like to see MW put some faith in him. He is a natural goalscorer and that tends to be a dying art in modern football.
