Telling Rangers fans to die because they think Tav is shit at defending and Tierney is a good player is fucking stupid.

Or Brendan is a great manager and we will struggle to win the title.

Or we are bigots.

Or the other umpteen posts he's made to suggest he's anything but a Rangers supporter.

Every suspicious member has to go through this to prove their staunchness and to toughen them up for the OT.

The guy is to put it nicely pish! !! He can't defend for shit and let's be honest he's average going forward. His positional awareness leaves a lot to be desired. and better is required if we want to mount any serious title challenge.

A just don't think he's good enough he has been far too inconsistent this season. But a don't think he's the worst defender we have. A think getting rid of kiernan should be first priority

Statistically he hasn't been inconsistent at all.

tav is superb going forward. best to get a better right back in and move tav further up the pitch.

Would actually agree he is average going forward.

For a right back, he is superb going forward. But he canny defend.

If he plays as a RM/winger, then he becomes probably below average going forward relative to the position. There are better options out wide than pushing him up.

I see him as a good backup full back next year.

Well he's still not good enough defensively and that's his first priority. Let's hope he improves

Hate to break it you but the stats include defensive stuff as well.

Funnily enough his defensive stats have improved while has attacking ones waned over the season.

Hmm, almost like there is a correlation....as if his biggest problem was finding a balance.....

Stats can be misleading at times. Watching Tav lately I'm sure you'll agree he's been below par.

Sure has.

Laudrup was shite for all of 98/99.

He wasn't shite was he.

Players can have slumps in form. I'll start worrying when its 10 games into next season.

Basically Tav and the rest of the team looked like they were way short of match practice against a side who had been playing competitive games. At the end of the day sometimes the schedule will work for you, and sometimes it will work against you. We lost a cup final, it wasn't the first we've lost and it won't be the last, but we pick ourselves up and move on. We are Rangers, we survive to win trophies and while we may not succeed every year we will still be wining more than the teams round about us because that is what we do.

Sorry mate, but I can't buy into the short of match practice deal. I would have much rather been in our position than Hivs, due to the pressure they were under, all the games in a short period and then getting humped before the final. Remember it was Hivs who humped us. We had three shots on target and they should have scored more. That useless prick Stokes, hasn't kicked a ball all season and he roasted our defence. What we short of was attitude and quality.

It was to blame to an extent but what caused it was letting a celtic reject score a medicore goal. And basic defending from a corner twice.
