'Mob Rule' Claims Just Don’t Stack Up

So if police Scotland never said this then the club must take action as who did say it? Should police Scotland not be charging the reporter for her lies? As she is obstructing justice with this Independent Inquirey by reporting lies.

Bank holiday or not ban the Daily Record from Ibrox from immediate effect and the club should contact the owners of the Record over this and tell them if the editor is not removed then we will be taking them to court for slander.  .

Time to step up Paul Murray the Daily Record prove once again they are a Rangers hating rag and have no place at Ibrox.

It has to be down to the newspaper to distance themselves from uncorroborated bullshit. The editor who allowed publication is the one responsible, & if he or she isn't made to apologise it means the paper itself owns the report & must be challenged by the club

I was heartened by the initial club statements after being told previously that they would never stick up for the fans, but if they fail to follow through on latter day apologists such as Ms Hamilton, then any early statements will count for nothing.

The independent inquiry isn't judicial. She hasn't done anything she can be charged for.

She is interfering with an Inquirey which is taking place.  You can't just report so called evidence .   We all know it's shite but the papers have a moral responsibility just like with the Rangers fraud case.

How can it be Independent if all the evidence is published before the verdict?

Surely it must be a matter for the police to look into if a national newspaper is falsely giving quotes from the police into something as serious as what happened last weekend? If indeed this is just fabrication on the DR's part then it must be challenged be not only the club but also the police themselves

They lie that often they think it is the truth, they seem to be popping out the woodwork with renewed vigour in their  coordinated hatefest seemingly unchecked by anyone to reign it in.

The polis in the op photo has a strange arm.

It's not a judicial enquiry, It's an SFA appointed one. She can report on it as much as she likes, same as many have with regards to the pitch invasion and everything else.

1690 TAM...Nail on the head or if the police are saying this behind closed doors then who leaked this information?

The the club should ask the police directly if they said this and if they did not demand she's charged and if they did demand to know who leaked it within the force.

They can't provide this information then demand an Inquirey into police Scotland.

They go  down for this or she does, their choice but some cunt is gonna take the fall for this

Things that should be asked when there is accusations of "mob rule" outside the ground by Rangers fans;

  • Were riot police or any other special/tactical response deployed to deal with this?
  • If not, why not? Were the police underprepared/ill-equipped to deal with this situation? If so why was this?
  • How many arrests were made during this "mob rule"?
  • What were these arrests for?
  • What charges have been made?
  • How many reports of criminal damage were made as a result?
  • What is the value of the damage?
  • Any injuries to people reported? If so what were they?
  • Where is the video evidence?...I assume that in the the country with the most CCTV per head of population in the world, that the stadium, street, shops, police vehicles etc. etc. all captured it and subsequently there is undeniable proof?

It reeks of an ill-thought-through excuse to deflect from the goings on inside the stadium and the unprepared/inadequate police response to it. A "paranoid" person would be forgiven in thinking it was also to lay blame at the Rangers support in a country where that has been both fashionable and publically supported for years now.

What are you expecting them to charge her with mate? And how could the police ever prove that she didn't have a source that made these claims? We all know it's a pile of shite, but we'd be wasting our time going down that route.

She can't just print on an ongoing investagation, the independent Inquirey must be seen to be impartial but how can they be with this plastered all over the papers .

Charge her with sectarian abuse as she thinks it's funny to call us H***, all because her hubby was or used to be one as he is not one of us anymore, so if he's black can she call all people niggers?

The police can charge her on this and I fully expect them too or they will need to answer some tricky questions, if it's them or her she will be thrown to the wolves and they will protect themselves.

This is why we challange them at every turn as unlike us they are more interested in keeping their jobs , yo us it personal and we will do what ever it takes to defend our club.

Mate, I don't know how else to say it. It's not a judicial inquiry. She can talk about this investigation all she wants, same as just about everyone else has.

The sectarian stuff is a separate discussion.

I've had enough of collating, I'm sending off complaints after the weekend.

Starting with my MSP and the DR.

If none of that gets a speedy and appropriate response, which it won't, I think I should report these people to the police under the 'Act' for bad or sectarian behaviour to the police.

Supporting this kind of bigotry surely has to be what this law was introduced to avoid?

I asked a lot of similar questions under FOI to the police after manchester and they told nothing and hid behind a bullshit excuse about preventing future crimes.

That woman is now a poster tard for their whole attack. Either they disown her or they are culpable.

I'd put my money on cuplable.

The haters got in first again and the damage is done. Irrespective of what can and cannot be proven, this will be spun so much by them that black will be white, by the time they done.

The bint is easier dealt with as to her credibilty, but if plod keep up their pretence, then matters become more difficult. Spin, big bad sectarian Rangers declare Police Scotland as liars. In this backwater no one wants to hear it and plod will be believed. However, it should NOT stop us getting the truth out there, but there has to be follow up action on it.

A lie as big as this if disproved will show them up something rotten.
