Nacho Novo at the age of 25 signed for Rangers in July 2004 (from dundee) for a fee of $450,000. In his first season with us, he scored 25 goals in 48 appearances. This same year, Rangers won the league and the league cup! He was also the third highest scorer that year at 19 goals, 1 below Derek Riordan for Hivs, and 6 below Hartson for the tims. This also the year on the infamous Helicopter sunday! When the title looked to be going to Fir park to Septic, a motherwell goal made the helicopter change direction to Easter Road. Where Nacho Novo scored the only goal in the 59th minute. Nacho would stay with Rangers FC, soaking up all the love the club had to offer, for a straight 6 years. In this time he scored 73 goals for us, including a beautiful goal against Falkirk in the Scottish Cup. and he done this in 255 Appearances. The spaniard has played at Rangers legends matches since then and has even been in attendance at Rangers games. It's clear to see he loves the club, and the club and her fans love him too!
