As far the police are concerned there is likely to be more trouble at a music event than there is at a Rangers home game, the possible exception in their view being a visit by the Glitterites. People generally think that there is a lot of trouble at football matches and they require a lot of policing at great cost. People are also intimidated by large crowds and the perceived dangers. Having said that, it's unreasonable to drag Rangers into the problems surrounding concerts. You wouldn't be happy if the guys in the pub were talking about the slutty barmaid only to conclude that she was no more a slut than your daughter. All negative connotations have an impact. To be fair nice bit of vilifying by the Jesuit press ! The meeting comes after locals raised concerns around safety, following three deaths at T in The Park. Summer sessions at bellahouston have the tendency to turn into absoloute nedfests and full of teenagers full of drink and drugs they obviously can't handle and either passing oot in a pool of their own pish and vomit or fighting amongst themselves .
