Laudrup1984 25,100
It's no coincidence IMO, that out of all the wildcards on both sides, the best performing players were those that finished the season on form...........

Laudrup1984 25,100
Bubba is an emotional wreck. Fair play to USA. The best team won. Europe had their chances but at the end of the day, when it mattered the USA players played big at crucial points and holed the putts they needed to for the win. Some team they have........... You want to doff your cap to them because some of their play was just outrageous at times, and on tour I actually quite like a lot of them, but The Ryder Cup turns them into proper knobs! the brown brogue 1,909
Pretty much as expected today, Clarke was a pretty poor captain but makes it difficult when you have the likes of Fitzpatrick, Wood and Sullivan as automatic picks, good players but a bit meh and not the types who the USA would be intimidated by. Westwood was a poor choice and has the short game of a county player, but Clarke almost had no choice given all the rookies in the side. The less said about Willett the better, piss poor from him and I'll be amazed if he ever wins another major. Clemdog
