Makes sense. In terms of players I've been alive to see and remember Naismith would be on the bench, that wouldn't change regardless of the fact he's a spineless cunt. McGregor and Davis are also there in case you didn't notice.

Note :  there are 6 Scots in the side.

If only we had a Scotland team with 6 players of their quality available now, we would be back in the finals of major tournaments in no time.

Aye, but if they played for us they'd still not get a game with the national team.

Weir, Thern, Hateley, Negri, Mols, Souness and McCall were also considered. Also have to mention Prso, Johnstone and Greig, although the latter was a bit before my time. Jardine kinda was too, but I'm aware of how good he was mainly due to footage.

no room for oleg then, I was at parkheid when the 2 Russians scored what a day, the Russians cam

e in from the cold(no pun intended) I think everyone was surprised at them starting that day.

Amoruso/Cuellar were good but not on the same planet as Gough/Butcher.

I dont doubt it for one minute but I can't really recall them growing up so thought it's only fair giving an opinion on players I've seen in the flesh or I can remember playing ?

McCoist Hateley

Klos

Ricksen Amorouso Moore Numan

Prso De Boer

I know in my 2nd team a few were in there at the nd of Walters 1st time but that's my teams from 2 successful eras.

So many more I could put in there TBH.

With a good blend of steel and flair on the bench:

Klos, Amoruso, Ian Ferguson, Hurlock, Durrant, Amato, Mols.

I forgot about Hurlock. That guy took NO prisoners!

I think...

Pretty close to mine too, although I would have liked Souness in there. And a toss of a coin between Cooper and Laudrup. Both were world class when they were on form. :)

Prso and De Boer, despite knees being completely fucked when they were with us, were much classier than Hateley but his partnership with McCoist was arguably the best we've ever had in the best team we've every had.
