The fact that the whole team bar Forrester , never turned up until 70 mins in is fuckin ridiculous and its happening to often . Warburton is to blame here , nobody else.

Warburton without doubt deserves a portion of the blame but he can't be held accountable for some of the basic terrible passing, movement, shooting and general play. There are some big, talented players in our team who are just under performing. Warburton, the players and everyone involved are all equally to blame for how we are playing just now IMO.......

Our problem is we have 1 person in the middle of the park and no support. Our wingers are always out wide, our midfield is always too deep. The space between our defence and midfield is always too much. We need wingers to drop inside if the ball is opposite side.

Stretching the game is pointless if the opposition is going to sit narrow and give you the wide area. They out number us in defence and we have noone in the box.

We had a young enthusiastic attacking team, we've bought older slower players and our whole play has suffered. Static, slow, punts to the forward players. Please please drop these new players and field the team that took us so far last season.

Ran out of likes...

We need Energy, we need to press,we need to run, we need to work hard.

Spot on, to many if the orders players can't do that.

Can't have. :   Miller 36.     Hill: 137  Barton: 33  all in the same team.

Too call it a plan is too give them too much credit. Our players look tentative, scared even, against  substandard dross like Killie. Confidence looks like its been drained. This isn't the time to lose our bottle or we're in big trouble with the Bheggars and the Sheep on the horizon. An abomination that we couldn't score a winner against 10 man Kilmarnock

Kille didn't have ten men, most of them were boys.

Warburton can't really believe what he's got can win the league. He's obviously going to say  all the right things but I reckon both him and the board know we're not good enough.

I didn't expect to win the league this year or even next but wanted to see steady progress. I'm a bit concerned what state we will be in in a couple of years time given the age of some of his signings

The average age of the squad is under 26 if Im not mistaken.

3 or 4 30 somethings is hardly going to sink the boat is it?

Fuck sake.

If only Boyd didn't score from exactly where our right back should have been

Tav is not a conventional full back. He can't cover every blade of grass at once, it is Warburton who asks him to bomb forward. Do you think he just takes it upon himself to push up?

It's up to a defensive midfielder and centre back to move into these positions when he is advanced.

Warburton knows what to do if they are not performing and he hasn't done it. No team of ours should be allowed to put a performance like that first hour and get away with it , and its happened many times before. The buck lies with Warburton , nobody else.

Tav made some great balls into the box, played his role perfectly mate

But I agree that forrester was the busiest player on that park and played the whole 90.

As for mw he doesnt seem to know his best team and hel put it down to stuff like "there still gelling as a group of players" the fact is some players just cant be played together eg barton, rossiter, halliday

The mental gymnastics though.

We had 3 or 4 legitimate big tests and we passed all but one.

And as for finishing second........isn't that where everyone thinks we were going to finish anyway?

What big tests?

I don't want to see us moving a manager on but his inability to accept his team formation and set up will cost him.

Second place is all we can hope for, on the performances so far it will be a challenge.

Are you happy to finish second with double figure points of a gap? I'd say that is embarrassing.

How is a defensive midfielder that can't defend the least of our problems?

Did you watch the game he's not a defensive midfielder in our team.

you might not have seen him but rossiter was the sitting midfielder.

hes the least of our problems because we have a manager who doesn't learn from his mistakes

Aside from the negativity, as others have said Tav was brilliant. The freekick and the piece of skill he did that left the Killie boy in the car park was class. It's not just his attacking either - he's more than stepped up to the mark defensively and the right back area is not so much a worry now.

The scum sent their number two to watch us....they must be worried.

Brenda must be quaking in his boots, sending Kennedy to mull over our pathetic attempt to win against the 2nd worst team it the top league last season.

Fair play to Lee Clark. Tactically outplayed Warburton.

We're playing like a mid table team. The manager is not invincible, this has to change.

We won't win the league this season. That's not being a panic merchant, it's a fact.

The worrying thing is killie only did what championship teams done eventually by getting everyone behind the ball, our play is now slow and laboured so we struggle to break teams down, I wouldn't say you need to be a tactical genius to set up this way but worryingly for us we keep shipping the 1st goal which allows teams to sit in further.

After our performance in the SC final I think the last thing we need is a long time out

Good point!

I'm pinning my hopes for the 10th on the fact we'd been pretty indifferent in the lead up to the cup semi, then played s blinder!

Waghorn and Garner have goals in them and we need those two playing at the same time.  I'd like to see us sign a proper left-winger because Barrie is very inconsistent on that left-wing.  The two CAMs need to be proper attackers like Forrester and Windass.  The CDM needs to be Rossiter or Barton we can't play both at the same time.  Kenny Miller and Andy Halliday simply aren't good enough.

No likes left but this spot on

Mckay dropped into a cam position for around 10 mins and thats when he perked up a bit,id like to see him played there reguarly with forrester taking his place on the wing

Id like to see hodson replace wallace tbh ..

You can have more than one defensive midfielder. And Barton was often at the base with players running by him no bother which has happened every game this season.

This self-imposed tactical straitjacket has to end.

Given our defensive problems, it's not weakness to tweak the side to protect a vulnerable area. But a refusal to contemplate any change in shape is, I think, making us piss easy to play against.Let's face it: if you have Rangers coming up, you know what you need to do. Opposition managers know one of our superior players may do something they can't deal with, but if not, we struggle. We had half an hour against ten men tonight yet never did you get the impression 'it's coming'.

Also the fact we are heading into the last weekend of the transfer window scrambling about for a centre half which should have been our no.1 priority going into the season raises more questions than answers

Fair play to Tav, some free-kick.

Also put in two crosses that were begging to be put in.

They knew the crosses were going to come, but no one gambled to get even close to the ball.

Plus, Krancjar kept looking for folk to move around and again, they didn't.
