Firstly, Walter Smith retired years ago and will never be the manager of Rangers again.  Those who still hang on to the idea of him coming back need to let that go.  The guy is happily enjoying his retirement.

Our fans asked for a more entertaining and progressive style with a young squad and that's what Warburton is trying to give us.  Celtic are spending more money on player wages and transfer fees than the rest of the SPFL combined.  We need to be realistic and accept that Warburton is up against it and cut him some slack.

he has no real understanding of our expectations. As a collective we don't put up with anything other than winning, and even them we give them stick.

He needs to wise up. I am unsure if he actually is up to the task but I am also horrified at the boards next cheap wheeze which would be to give weir the gig, nightmare territory that would be.

Ive said it before and i'll say it again; when Warburton's style works it works well, but when it goes wrong it will go very wrong. That's not a criticism of MW, it's only to be expected. We are skint. We have a manager who has shown he produces results with little money, and usually sends out teams who play good football. We would be foolish getting rid just because we hit a bump in the road.

Walter smith might be too far, but I'd bet he'd win this league with this group of players.

Warburton , after his comments last night is showing he is not up to it.

If we are honest, if Hibs fans never invaded the pitch on the cup final, more questions would have been asked of him.

Wait,

what's big Eck doing with himself these days, lets bring all the former managers that have won leagues and cups and have one massive Rangers think tank. :541:

That way we would have all the old heads in the one place :pipe:

Or we can stop panicking and stay strong behind the current management team, you just never know how things might pan out :uk:

Not surprised some nutter called for MWs head this early. Thought it would be an angry and drunk supporter last night.

Was wrong, was a rabid simpleton the day after.

No surrender? Aye, right!!

So do you think it's wrong to question Warburtons suitability consider the glaringly obvious errors in judgement over the past two months of last season and start of this season?

If these bastards beat the sheep today they go top with a game in hand going into an OF game we have put ourselves in that position due to team selections and a manager that doesnt know how to change it when things dont go our way.

We have lost nothing yet. Not a good start, but you have sacked MW without having the balls to state it or explain why and replaced him with a man who has retired from football for life and wouldn't take the job if offered.

Go drink a bottle of whiskey and maybe you will make more sense.

MW is not up against them. We are nowhere near them financially and football wise they are grouped against some of the best in the planet and the fact they may well not win a point is imaterial, as we are just not in it.

We remain to have the second highest budget in the land by far and we are struggling and the reasons are so obvious a blind nan can see it.

Can we turn it around? Not a chance in hell if we persist with that defence. TWO new faces in or we can forget it. As for going forward  I've seen paint dry quicker. Then there are shots on target, three in each of the last two games. Let's not say we are challenging them just yet, because the fact of the matter is, we ain't and if we don't get a result against them, we are at best challenging others for second spot.
