Can tell Miller regrets signing with them.

Couple a digs by saying you can be a sprinter but no a good footballer:lol:

Can imagine it now where Krancjar plays a 40yard pass, Windass brings it down with his left, whips it in with his right and theres Miller to smash it home for his 100th goal to put the people 4-0 up:pipe:

The fact Kenny never even mentions MOH as one of the fastest at the club fills me with a bit of confidence....If Windass is ready to go i'd play him!

O'halloran is the fastest player in Scottish football imo, Barry is fast but doesn't run at players often and Windass is faster than Barrie but nowhere near MOH pace.

Pity his brain isn't as fast as his feet.

O'halloran just needs to learn how to finish and he'll be a great asset for our team. Needs to start vs the tarriers imo

No chance, not good enough, not even as a sub does he show any quality, one simple ball to Miller against Motherwell to kill the game, couldn't even manage that. That's why he is on the bench and not even considered for a start and also is way down in the pecking order, after all he has been at the club long enough to cement a starting place! and is still not good enough.

He's the best option we've got for RW imo and is good at using his pace get to the byline and cut it back something which didn't suit our style of play with Miller in the team because he isn't in and around the box anymore, but with Garner now MOH will be able to utilise his pace and cutbacks knowing there will be a poacher in the box ready to get on the end of his crosses. He is an underrated player in our team, his off the ball runs and positioning  often goes unnoticed imo. Like I said if he can improve his finishing and decision making too he will be a good asset for our team.

You are right about his pace, if used to sweep by defences but only to be let down by a poor final ball, very similar problem on the left where neither Wallace or McKay can deliver  a good final balls consistently and not helped by a lack of presence in the box, here's hoping Garner can rectify that, also against Motherwell at the end we had four players in the box and scored two goals, these problems were present all last season and obviously stem from Warburton, just like the defence problem, is still there.

I think once MOH gels with the rest of the squad we will be happy with his contribution, the guy has had to learn a completely different style of play since joining and hasn't had a good run of games in the team yet. He needs to start against them imo his pace on the wings will tear tierney to bits and will be useful on the counter but unfortunately it'll probably be McKay on the right and Miller on the left :power_of_anguish:

I don't think a lack of players in the box was warburtons fault tbh his system is designed to get more bodies in the box but for the games so far we haven't had the right players for it, Holt and Windass have been injured and Forreter pushed out wide so we haven't had any midfield runners, once the full squad is back we'll see more players making late runs into the box which caused a lot of problems for teams last year.

Enjoyed both the press conferences there! I'm glad mark highlighted the difference between English journalists and here. They wouldn't have liked that!

Dont know if Holt will get a game but it's good that he's back. Would like to see him in for a wee half hour anyway!
