1NachoNovo 840
I was fucking buzzing when we signed him. Thought we had a real peach on our hands. Not doubting his ability, but at one point today, I was seriously fuming at him. He took a shot from just outside the box, which rebounded out to the left, which KM chased down and got. Did Niko make any effort to keep going? Did he fuck. He just stood there like the junkie bastard that stands at the bus stop outside my local londis, asking for 20p for his bus fare. Honestly think he couldn't give a fuck. Seriously pisses me off when players just give up after kicking a ball once and the magic didn't happen. IMO, it's a sign that they think they are more important than the club. He shouldn't be here imo. His own ambition means more than ours. Perth_Campsie_Ger 17,977
He would be much better being an impact sub than starting
cushynumber 25,178
He is done. He won't figure much this season at all now. He is yards too slow for what we need in midfield - yards.

Said it before we signed him , another duff signing and should never have started today.

Creampuff 22,628
He's a quality player, but the rest of our midfield isn't good enough to accommodate him.
STEPPS BOY 73,805
Him and Barton are the top earners.. I'm quicker than them.. sums up our transfer policy..
RDFM 3,809
We've fucked it in regards to transfers. It's pretty clear Niko and Barton are shadows of their formers selves but we've got them both on multiple year deals on decent wages. Why MW changes from his young and hungry approach I'll never know.

No we cant but id rather have an impact sub that creates chances than a slow as fuck player thats fucked by half time
sandyinroyalblue 16,478
Fitness is atrocious and the job he was asked to do today was always going to be beyond him.
1690tamRFC 5,001
Massive gamble signing him and one that's not likely to pay off. So far off the pace it's fucking unbelievable

SeparateEntityMyArse 53,622
Him and Miller blowing out their arse after 10 mins. He wanted time on the ball. He now knows the score. Will do well in games we dominate. Wrong selection today I'm afraid and an anticipated poor performance.
BlearyEyedBear 4,148
I was hoping a player of his experience would've been able to handle the occasion better. I haven't been impressed of what I've seen from him so far, but the same can be said of Barton.

LaudrupsPatrickBoots 13,510
So off the pace it's unreal. It wasn't even dirty tackles from him today he's just not quick enough or fit enough to get there on time.
Moody Blue Legend 61,407
Embarrassingly out of it today by a country mile.

Not sure about 'quality player' any more, but he still has ability. I agree though, he needs to be a luxury player that floats about and relies on others to do the other donkey tasks but we're not good enough to accommodate that. I don't think he's going to work for us.
the brown brogue 1,909
Well we did bring him out of what was basically semi-retirement, not surprising he's got the sharpness and fitness of a hungover Sunday league player.
Moody Blue 9,346
Was a game that they were very much up for, there'd be no time on the ball and that's what he needs to pick a pass. The fact that MW didn't take that in to account is very worrying.
sugar_free_pizza 402
rossiter and m'oh not playing was WTF for me also what was the point in paying 1.7 million for a striker if he's not going to get the service.
ianferguson 2,619
I could have picked ten Rangers teams today and Kranjcar would not have been in any of them.Warburton got many things wrong today but starting Nico was his biggest error. JukeBoxJohn 3,060
Not sure if he's unfit or just lazy as fuck, think it's more the latter. Luxury player who won't graft and shouldn't have played today.
rfc_watp 1,503
I said before the game he should be brought on with half an hour to go, when legs are heavy and he can unlock defences. He started which was the wrong choice. The pace was too fast and the game passed him by. If I can see it without having any managerial experience, how the fuck can MW or DW not and they see him everyday. Shambles.
