LegendofCoop 17,248
Asked by a Tim at my work if I thought it was a straight red. I said no, yellow was correct. Cue mass outrage. "Worst tackle ever" "shocked at you think it's a yellow....get your blue tinted specs off..." Blah blah blah. Told him to fuck off...seen much worse imo. Sorry if this was talked about in the match thread, can't be atsed to trawl through 50 pages to find out So, yellow or red?

Getstiffed 8,863
Red, just barely though. Seen worse tackles that didn't even result in a yellow.
Smile 26,600
The game before Clint Hill got a forearm smash which was a red, i cant remember the same level of anger somehow.
cushynumber 25,178
He lost the ball and jumped in. I dont think he intentionally went for the guys kneecap - but thats what he hit and it looked a dull one. Because both players were on the ground and both were sliding in and committed, it looked a bit 50/50 - which is why I think he didn't get sent off - but he easily could have went and I would have had no complaints. Supersonic 4,654
Just thought about this but that yellow means him and Wilson are out of the semi then, yeah?
Dan Deacon 55,127
Probably a red but I think it was more late/trying to recover the ball than malice. That said if it had been the other way round I would have been demanding a red card.
ianferguson 2,619
Neither his qots or dundee tackles were malicious but dundee borderline red and qots defo RED.
MasterD 7,435
Red. His "tackling" is dreadful, and I think it comes from his frustration at losing the ball so often because he tries to do too much.
gazza27 15,281
It was a clear red,Sutton spewing about it was good though
ritchieshearercaldow 22,123
It was worthy of a red, I'd have mentioned to them that they also had a player miss the bullet at the Dundee game.
Bears r us 30,770
After seeing a few replays it did look red, but the ref only has one look and he called it as he saw it and gave a yellow. While it was embarrassing the way that stupid prick Sutton went in about it, I think Harry needs to be careful or he will be sent off soon IMO. ForeverAndEver 71,362
Not seen a replay yet, will need to see on before deciding.

LaudrupsPatrickBoots 13,510
Haven't seen a replay of it. Initial thoughts were he was lucky to stay on the pitch though. It looked wild to say the least.
SeparateEntityMyArse 53,613
Uncontrolled, a distance from ball and high up the leg. It was a red. Sometimes given, other times not. We got off with this one.
julescotia 11,407
The way I look at it is .... Try and imagine it the other way round, that crunching tackle on Forrester or McKay or Halliday. I'd be fuming if it wasn't a red. So red for me. Chineseboy 1,563
I am in the minority here, but I actually thought a yellow was the right decision. Far Far worse tackles than that everyday in matches.

cumnockbear 2,446
It was a typical strikers challenge, straight red though he coulda shattered that boys knee cap.
Prso's headband 35,336
The difference between his tackle last night and tackles against us were he had every intention of getting the ball. 50% of the tackles against our club are just sheer malice. I'm glad he gets in about it. We always greet that were too powderpuff and now we have a couple of forwards not shy of a tackle and we give him a bit of stick for it. sassaaaa 11,406
It was a straight red , but its ten times worse than any red has ever been if you read or watch the catholic news.
