Loyal Bear 72 363
I actually think a yellow was the correct call in terms of the rules. It's clear he's not going for the player and making a genuine attempt to get the ball but catches the player late. For me it was reckless, which is a booking in the rules. If it's a genuine attempt it's not excessive and therefore not a red. Saying that there are a couple of angles look worse and I can see why a lot would say red. Broxi 11,473
Generous yellow or a slightly harsh red. Probably on the side of being a red though
plumbGER 24,518
If it was a young Scottish player tackling a young English player it's no foul. If the other way about it's a straight red. Ask mark burchill.
kingtom80 166
it was a bad tackle,he was lucky he got away with just a yellow card.

Goianegra 4,680
Your Tim pal was right but why was he so intrigued by us against Queen of the South? Will I fuck be watching them against Alloa the night.
Zappa6995 3,641
Lost control of the ball, both feet off the ground and studs showing, its a red all day long. Forrester needs to calm down a wee bit.
ManchestGer 347
Definitely a red although if one of them had asked me the same question I would have said yellow as well just to piss them off and watch them foam at the mouth.
heathen fish boy 8,572
When I played Sunday league that wouldn't even be a free kick, whinging pansies these professionals
Bears 792
Grey area between the two. Either could be given. Seen much worse done to us and occasionally a yellow given. I wouldn't expect a red given if one of ours was tackled like this but that's cos we're getting used to others getting away with it. The day our players are given proper protection, I will be surprised.

G.E.C. 18,712
Red card. His tackling is mental. Reckon that's why he never started at the piggery.
siamthedanger 2,847
Red. Oor Harry gets a wee bit excited at times, great talent though.
The Godfather 71,714
Was a clear red. If one of our players was on the receiving end of that we would be raging. His tackling is reckless at best.
RangersMedia 35,961
Clear red card. Could have done the QoS player some damage with that but fair play to the lad he got on with it after it.
thebluedoo 2,652
I think it was a red but can he still get hauled up by the SFA disciplinary panel for a harsher ban ?
