Happy with a win, but still very poor today on the whole. I touch of class from niko and one good passage of play got us the goals, and a great goal line save kept it 2-0

Wasn't pretty but we had to get a win on the board, we made it relatively comfortable and also kept a clean sheet, sometimes these ugly games are the games to get you back on track.

Not at all the first half thistle were the better team and the second half was the same as most weeks all possession no penetration.

wilson was solid and Halliday for me was a standout that's all I can take from today

Most of the first half was dreadful. Ended the half well after getting the goal and an improvement in the play getting the second.

Second half the overall play was better, quicker passing, quicker to get forward, still lacked a cutting edge and disappointing not to score a couple more. Still need a huge improvement though.

Would've gave MOTM to Halliday.

The 3 points were clearly the most important thing today but in reality the performance was still nowhere near good enough imo, especially at home against the bottom team in the league. Still too many players off their game and when you have too many playing together in a formation that doesn't seem to get the best out of them we get a performance like that. The better quality in our team got us the win today, Nikos goal in particular, but our overall play during those 90+ mins still didn't show any great signs of improvement since the end of last season or the opening weeks of this one and that's still slightly concerning.
