Have we trained well this week?

You do realise it is possible to train fantastic and not take it into a live game with you? Unless you think training is done against the very same spl players that feel they have s point to prove?

you carry on

The amount of times we've 'trained well all week' and not brought it into a game suggests it's not just about the opposition - it's also possible to train well all week, but not well enough.

Anyone else feel the urge to give Wilson a slap while they were watching that? Wake up man. Possession and style of play doesn't win games. Scoring goals and keeping them out does. Better yet why not add in some fairy dust and well wishes to go along with your hopefulness and luck, that should get us up the table.

Might be the sort of lousy day its been but listening to the journos there seemed to me to be a distinct lack of enthusiasm among them.   They sounded bored.   No zip to their questions, only restrained nudging of Warburton on some points.   They've got bored with him and his standard briefing lines because every week up he tends to say the same sort of things and every week following a game he brings out the same sort of reasons why the game did not go to plan.   Like the football its all now a bit predictable and it just seemed to fizzle out.

Again maybe it just one of these days but Warburton himself seemed to lack a bit of his usual enthusiasm.

He'll get a different view of the game on Saturday.  Hope he uses his enforced suspension from the touchline to good effect.

I'm more concerned at how we have only scored 8 goals in the league to be honest, we are obviously going to concede goals but we should be scoring far more

I think Warburton killed his own fast fluid system when he signed less mobile players. If we are never secure at the back scoring wont really help us unless we score at least 4 a game.

What the fuck are you actually expecting him to say when he's sitting right next to one of his defenders in front of the media that love a good bad Rangers story?  fuck sake

Honestly, he should have said anyone can see the defence is not performing well.

He probably has let them know it, they probably know it themselves, but if he says it in front of those cunt the next day the headline is "WARBS SLAMS PLAYERS IN PRESS CONFRENCE" "DISCONTENT AT RANGERS AS WARBS SLAUGHTERS PLAYERS IN PUBLIC" attention we don't need.

Sometimes honesty the best policy rather than kidding the Press on they know like we know he's clueless on that defence and how to improve it.

That is the thing though, we aren't conceding 3 a game. In nearly every game this season that we dropped points, had we scored the first goal we would have went on to win probably and the opposition would have found it harder to score.

And I'm sure he is being honest with them behind closed doors. Fuck the press, we owe them fuck all, never mind a headline they can sensationalise

I disagree with this even if we scored that defence and static midfield would have fucked it up. Ross County and Linfield are the only teams we have kept a clean sheet against.
