Over the years we have had some truly exceptional managers at the helm,  but actions like these set some apart from the rest.  Attending the funerals of the 66 to crossing the divide and carrying the body of a friend and former manager of our biggest rival to supporting the family of a fallen fan at very difficult time.  This sets us apart.

You're absolutely correct Goose. But just wait 6-9 months on here and MW will most likely be receiving the most obscene vitriolic abuse that even a dhim  couldn't conjure up.

That is true and unfortunate,  last year he was the best thing since sliced bread,  this year he's a pariah because of an indifferent start....  But this thread isn't the place to be critical, Mr Warburton has shown himself to be a class act with his actions today and that cannot be overlooked.
