I though he was decent and yes he was our most direct player but he is still way off the level of player we need at the club.

I could probably count on one hand the number of players who are good enough to be at the club. We are where we are though.

Yeah. He's got the guts to try it at very least. Won't always come off, but at least he puts his neck on the line by trying.

Worked most of the time today. Gave them something to fear and developed a good number of positive opportunities in advanced areas.

He showed more balls than McKay has shown all season. McKay pulling out that tackle at the end and they countered, it was honestly fucking disgraceful.

By the way, how did Forrester stay on for so long? Utterly awful. Had it been O'H with a performance half that bad he'd have been hooked on 60 minutes.

Awful. Another awful performance. Body language was all wrong at half time as well. Looked unfit too.

Watching that tonight I thought why oh why did he not throw him on as a sub on Sunday. We got a bit of joy with a few counter attacks and having him on the ball might have made the difference.

Waghorn can barely kick his own arse at the moment. Rapidily becoming clear that he's not going to be able to make the step up.

Glad to see him get a game and prove his worth, guy gets unfairly slated on here for nothing to do with his playing ability.

Always looking to take men on and get crosses in and look forward to MW rewarding him by dropping him on Saturday

Aye, there's always going to be a portion of fans who dislike him because of his surname.

Must start. Every game.

The one player in our team who is direct as fuck. Ran himself into the ground tonight, won so many corners, setup Holt for a chance he should have scored, put another cross in for Garner who scuffed it.

He's not the best, but he didn't hide tonight and he kept going. If he gets dropped on Sat it will be a fucking joke.

Said it another thread earlier today when someone questioned why everyone was going on about him starting and he did exactly what I said what a lot of us were looking for. Running at defenses and getting balls in the box.

Should be the first name on the team sheet on Saturday.

You know what, for all people may criticise him for barely being in the game or being wasteful - him and tavernier are the only 2 players in that squad that have the ability to pull a bit if quality out the bag at this level.

Has to keep his place. Waghorn is a scottish championship right winger.

Kenny Miller as well

Yep, he was probably our best player tonight. However, that's the problem - if he is our best player and we are campaigning for him to play on Saturday then it highlights how far we have to go before we challenge for the title again. He is bang average,  as are so many others.

Our squad is crammed with mediocrity and our manager tries to go about it as if we're Barcelona- this is going to be one long season.

Bang on.  If we are ahead in a game late on and the opposition have to open up,  then MOH off the bench for a tiring Kenny Miller. That's all i can see him do for us.. or any side with title aspirations. Give him space to run into and the 3 or 4 touches he needs to bring the ball under control.

He went down very easily twice or thrice when Garner got booked it all came from him stupidly giving the ball away as he went down after being tickled no fight in him at all.

I havent seen the game yet so cant comment on how MOH played last night, but i love how time can put a rose tint on things. a certain Gazza is an absolute hero for many bears (me included) but people forget he used to disappear from games for huge periods, then produce 10/15 minutes of genius, then disappear again. not saying MoH is anywhere near the same league as gazza but sometimes that happens with potential matchwinners
