Smile 26,592
Garner Goal the other night does it give us a Glimmer of hope that if we give him good service with actual Wingers he can Prove effective, Or do you think we have bought another player like MOH who does not suit the Warburton system. .Williamson. 81,469
That song just doesn't work. It doesn't even slightly work.

Smile 26,592
I think the song as Good Un, i wish i wasn't so lyrically impaired that's a thing you know..
cushynumber 25,178
it was a corner he scored from. The chance in the 2nd half that actually came his way was from a cross he headered into the ground - and it was arguably an easier chance. Not convinced by a long shot with this guy. To Be A Ranger 4,032
He's scored 2 goals with not much playing time or decent support so he's doing OK so far.
Gaz52 11,837
Him and Miller are the only players I think are capable of scoring one on one clear cut chances

I'm not either as he doesn't look good but maybe it could be the system not really what he's used to.
ForeverAndEver 70,940
Cringey, shite, shouldn't sing about the pope at football etc....
Gaz52 11,837
His hold up play was good in the first half but second half balls were bouncing off him He needs to calm down a bit, there's a difference with being aggressive and just being plain stupid

Hopefully Garner can get one tomorrow, the winner would be great. Then it should give him the confidence to go on a run of scoring. here's hoping anyway. To Be A Ranger 4,032
BTW that song would work with some decent words to it... And when he does well enough to merit a song
NeoGeo7 10,260
Crosses from deep from full backs and crosses from the byeline by the wingers and I think he'll get some goals. Play him alongside another striker in a front 2 and I think he'd get 20 in a season.

SIRB_72 3,928
Don't know about the song, but he has started 4 games and scored 2 goals. If he has a goal every other game i'll be happy with that. He just needs a run of starts now!

He actually done ok in the first half the other night, our 'system' doesn't suit him though. Mark Warburton said he was 'entrenched in the 4-4-2 system", then why sign the guy then? centenarystand 2,227
A few on here have written him off. Needs a run of full games to show what he can do.

Prso's headband 34,990
Oh Joey Garner you are the love of my life oh Joey Garner I'd let you shag my wife oh Joey Garner I want a ginger beard too Determined to make this one stick I think he's the answer tbh. For 5ft 10 he has scored some amount of headers through the years which shows what happens when he gets the service. He's a good physical presence and IMO doesn't need 3 or 4 chances like Waghorn to find the net. I really like him and it's good to see our striker not being bullied or pushed off the ball so easily. Once our more technically gifted players start turning it on he will score a lot more.
