I'm confident of second - and ( no laughing now) we gave up far to early with Ally and perhaps now we are beginning to realise it's not just as easy as wishing it to happen.

We might find it easier, if we didn't appoint people who had served a 4 year apprenticeship as assistant, and still weren't ready for the step up.

Or those who are long on 'ideas', but short on actual experience of putting them into practice, in the environment in which he now finds himself.

2 gambles, experiments, call it what you will.

1 failed, should have been cut off sooner.

1 failing - most of us seem to have seen enough by now.

People like Walter - Souness did ok - but lol at the funds / standing we had then - this is a new reality for us and we are not used to it and many struggling to cope with the fact we are not where we were and that to get back their is a fight and will take time

That's true, but it's also been a reality for a while.

Football is a short-term game in many ways - 2 good examples:

Leicester's turnaround to turn into champions (& back again!!!) & our tail-off after such a blistering start last season.

So we should be used to it by now & employing people who can work with the reality you mention, rather than the dream we're trying to live at the moment.

I agree - and in MW we have a man that's working with the reality and a portion of the fan base that lives with the fantasy that we remain a power house - we certainly should be competing at least with 'them' but given where we have been many of us thought and were prepared to give MW some time and for me that is still the case - this has been a difficult season and for one reason or another the summer signings have not reaped any benefit ( hill excepted ?) but a season is a long time and calling for management change at this time is premature - imho of course

Argos pay to well DPD not so much - but more than jail :pipe:

You should get the jail for your shite patter although your attempt at uber fan with some of your excuses defending our plight at the moment border on the hilarious if it wasn't so sad that a called Rangers fan would accept it! :sherlock:
