10:00 Ibrox Stadium Saturday 27 December 2008.

Match Commander - "Right chaps, as you know, anyone caught singing the

Hokey Cokey is to be subject to arrest. Any questions?"

PC O'Shaughnessy - "Yes Guv. Any idea how we can cuff someone who has

their right arm in, but their left arm is still out?"

MC - "Yes, that will be tricky, and in those circumstances, it may be

easier just to eject that person from the stadium."

PC O'S - "But Guv - even walking them to the exit will be difficult, if

they insist on putting a left leg in and out, followed by a right leg.

And God knows what will happen when they shake it all about."

MC - "Hmmm...Yes, I see your point. Perhaps in the interest of public

safety, it might be wise to use discretion in regards to this particular

song. However, fresh orders this morning suggest we can concentrate on

others. It has been suggested by a Dr Reid that we may wish to apprehend

anyone reciting "Mary had a little lamb", as there are clear references

to the Virgin Mary and young followers of Aberdeen FC."

PC O'S - "Yes Guv, and I've always had my suspicions about "Little Boy

Blue".

MC - "No - leave your colleague out of this, and let's tackle Scotland's

shame."
