It can be easier for a pacey striker to score goals in open games when their pace can be utilised.Playing against teams who park the bus for large parts of the game nullifies the space they need to play in. Jon Daly can't move and sometimes he manages to hit the ball with his head...So that is why he got his chance playing up front in a few games and scored almighty NO goals in the 3RD division.
