MacBoyd 5,328
A unique blend of modern and traditional. The atmosphere that can be created in the ground can only be matched by a couple of other European stadiums.

Dutchy 1,200
The only time I expected any rugby history to be made at Ibrox was when hibs came to visit, but the Pars gave it a good try last season with some of their tackles.

WadeWilson 4,670
Glad NZ got beat after their blatant Buster Keaton in the group stage. Seemingly, this has been the most well-received and lauded event at the Games. Still think the games are a waste of cash but the 7s did make egg-chasing sound exciting. Copland bear 7,966
And the council spent millions on and around celtic park for 40,000 fans yet Ibrox got next to nothing done? The labour run council have questions to answer over these games and their preference for one team even thou their midden was used for 4 hours. Were is the value for money for the taxpayer, The opening ceremony should have been at Hampden
DP FC 400
170,000 x £40 (averaged out as cheapest was £30).That is over £7 million through the tills, not counting the profit from the catering.Food n drink queued out the door for four hours.Wonder what we were paid for our involvement?Maybe we should do a deal with the SRU, for an annual tourney - The Ibrox Sevens. Ibroxholm 2,260
Spoke to a number of people who went to Ibrox over weekend, general concensus was atmosphere & viewing was great but toilets, catering & some of decor left quite a bit to be desired. Now, we could blame Rangers for this but considering that over half a billion pounds has been spent on the CG by GCC/Scottish Government would it be too much to ask for a tiny fraction of this amount to be spent on a few toilet cleaners, improved/ extra catering and a basic touch up of some of the paintwork. After CG finished, I'll be interested to see responses to FOI requests outlining how much CG money was spent on Ibrox compared to Parkhead, particularly when you look at the CG attendances at each of these venues. Redwhiteandblue 3,330
New Zéland? I like it; a classy touch makes us sound exotic New Zaayland Apologies, didn't mean that. And it is quite exotic compared to Scotland. Speaking of that, from the pics of NZ I have seen, I can't believe how similar it looks compared to Scotland. It's uncanny.
