RD.1872 890
What a memorable season that was, for the right and wrong reasons. That year just showed how corrupt and vile the SFA & SPL really where. Firstly postponing a game for a player who hadn't kicked a ball for the tarriers in over a decade, was it just funny coincidence that they were missing 2 of their key players for the game which was postponed (OF coincidentally) and we were smashing teams left right and centre? The team who the guy died playing for never even got a postponement FFS!Fast forward a few months and then you have Burns, who was a part of the furniture at torbett towers, snuff it and they play just 48 hours after his death without even any mention of a postponement. Disgusting case of double standards from the vile cunts. Then you have their farcical tour of Japan which was just an out and out lie from the slanty eyed rent boy lover, who was rewarded with a seat on the SPL & SFA boards just a few years later despite him and his club bringing the game into disrepute. So much for "Sporting Integrity". I've no doubt that other piece of human excrement Reid pulled a few strings that year aswell. Long for the day that vile peado gets what's coming to him. From our point of view, we never done ourselves any favours by persisting with the same faces in the run in despite having a massive squad at the time, why the likes of Buffel, Burke and Hemdani weren't used in the league run in was absolutely baffling from Smith. Blue_Devil 350
I could take the criticism of the tactics if Zenit had put 2 past us in the first 15 minutes and forced us to chase the game. They did not.We didn't concede until the last 20 minutes. When legs would have been feeling weary. If we were fully refreshed that would have been the stage of the game that we looked to counter.
