Our Very Own Dean Sheils

Someone put on facebook he's made 60 odd appearances and scored 32 goals or something like that. Plus 20+ assists. Is that true? If it is, he's got to be the most underrated player we have.

According to wiki, 70 appearances and 19 goals.

Deano is the only one of the players who stayed that I'm 100% convinced could be useful in Warburtons system long term.

Plays with his head. Good touch. Lets the ball do all the work.

20 goals in 47 apps according to Flashscore, that's just league appearances so your numbers might not be far off GOAT

First hit on google has his numbers exactly as you said GOAT  With roughly half being sub appearances your bang on the money mate, might just be the most under valued player in the squad.

Imagine if he was used properly from the start?

As others have said, of the bunch we would have let leave at the start of the season, he looks the most likely to fit right in with the new system. He'll more than play his part in the run in this season.

I try not to think back now to the past few years, already knew things were bad playing wise but Warburton coming in has been that much of a difference so soon, it's just highlighted further how bad things were.

But that's in the past, onward and upward with the man with the magic hat at the helm.
