The "Great Scottish Run" is happening today/tomorrow around Glasgow. Just wanted to share with everyone so you can plan your journey to the game!

• St Vincent St will be closed between 04:15 and 12:45.

• Traffic will be permitted to cross St Vincent Street at Renfield Street (southbound) and Hope Street (northbound) until 09:00.

• Broomielaw from Lancefield Quay to Saltmarket will be closed between 04:15 and 16:30.

• Traffic will be permitted to cross Glasgow Bridge (southbound), King George Bridge (northbound), Victoria Bridge (both directions) and Albert Bridge (both directions) until 09:00.

• In order to get around St Vincent Street during the closures, options include the M8 at the West and High Street (A8) at the East.

• The bus lane on Argyle Street between Hope Street and Union Street and the bus lane at Nelson Mandela Place will be rescinded from 04:00 until 16:30.

• The 10K will start in George Square at 09:45 and the half marathon will start at 11:30 on Sunday 4th October. If you are free why not come along and support the thousands of runners taking part?

• Both the 10k and the half marathon will finish in Glasgow Green. Runners will be crossing the finish line from 10:15 until 15:30. There will be lots to see and do within Glasgow Green, so why not come along and join in the fun?

• No parking will be permitted anywhere on closed roads for the duration of the closures. Please note that any vehicles parked within the restricted areas will be removed by Glasgow City Council Parking Services contractors.

• Warning signage and ‘No Parking’ cones will clearly define these areas.

• St Vincent Street and Finnieston Street will be closed between 04:15 and 12:45.

• Traffic will be permitted to cross St Vincent Street at Union Street (southbound) and Hope Street (northbound) until 09:00.

• Argyle Street between Minerva Street and St Vincent Street will be closed between 04:15 and 12:45.

• A contraflow between Elliot Street and North Street along St Vincent Street will maintain access and egress to properties and businesses between St Vincent Street and Stobcross Street / The Clydeside Expressway.

• Stobcross Road and the Clydeside Expressway will remain open in both directions for the duration of the event.

• The westbound Finnieston Street off-ramp will reopen at 13:30.

• No parking will be permitted anywhere on closed roads for the duration of the closures. Please note that any vehicles parked within the restricted areas will be removed by Glasgow City Council Parking Services contractors.

• Warning signage and ‘No Parking’ cones will clearly define these areas.

• Finnieston Street (North of Clydeside Expressway) will be closed between 04:15 and 12:45.

• Lancefield and Anderston Quay will be closed between 04:15 and 16:30.

• Northbound traffic will be permitted to use the Fastlink lane to cross the Clyde Arc for the duration of the event. At the north end of the Clyde Arc all traffic will be turned left onto Finnieston Quay. The Clyde Arc will be reopened to southbound traffic 16:30.

• Stobcross Road and the Clydeside Expressway will remain open in both directions for the duration of the event.

• The westbound Finnieston Street off-ramp willreopen at 13:30.

• A contraflow between Finnieston Quay and Elliot St will allow residential and business properties north of Lancefield Quay to access.

• To allow egress from these properties a second lane will be installed between Hydepark Street and Cheapside Street.

• No parking will be permitted anywhere on closed roads for the duration of the closures. Please note that any vehicles parked within the restricted areas will be removed by Glasgow City Council Parking Services contractors.

• Warning signage and ‘No Parking’ cones will clearly define these areas.

The following road closures and parking restrictions will directly affect your area:

• Hanover Street will be closed (between Ingram Street and George Square) will be closed between 08:00 on Friday 3rd October and 12:00 on Monday 6th October. With access only for Businesses and deliveries via Ingram St.

• The following roads will be closed between 08:30 and 10:30 on Saturday 3rd October: Ingram Street (from Queen Street to Glassford Street), Albion Street (from Bell Street to Trongate), Trongate, Glassford Street, Hutcheson Street, Wilson Street (From Virgina St to Hutcheson St), Brunswick Street and Candleriggs (from Trongate to Bell Street).

• The following roads will be closed between 08:30 and 12:30 on Saturday 3rd October: George Street (from Montrose Street to High Street), Ingram Street (from Glassford Street to High Street), Albion Street (from Ingram Street to Bell Street), Wilson Street (From Hutcheson St to Candleriggs), Candleriggs (from Bell Street to Ingram Street) and Shuttle Street and Bell Street (from Albion Street to Candleriggs).

• The following roads will be closed from 05:45 on Saturday 3rd October until 15:00 on Sunday 4th October: George Square (Southside), George Square (in front of City Chambers), South Fredrick Street and Cochrane Street.

• Montrose Street (from George St to Ingram St) will be closed from 08:30 on Saturday 3rd October until 15:00 Sunday 4th October. • No parking will be permitted anywhere on closed roads for the duration of the closures. Please note that any vehicles parked within the restricted areas will be removed by Glasgow City Council Parking Services contractors.

• Warning signage and ‘No Parking’ cones will clearly define these areas.

• Northbound traffic will be permitted to use the Fastlink lane to cross the Clyde Arc for the duration of the event. At north end of Clyde Arc all traffic will be turned left onto Finnieston Quay. The Clyde Arc will be reopened to south bound traffic at 16:30.

• Seaward Street will be closed between 06:30 and 11:45.

• A contraflow on Seaward Street between M8 slip road and Milnpark Street will maintain access and egress to business and residential properties in this area.

• Paisley Road West will be closed between Helen Street and Seaward Street between 06:30 and 15:15.

• A contraflow on Paisley Road West between Seaward Street and Govan Road will allow access and egress to residential areas to the north of Paisley Road West during this period.

• Although Paisley Road West is closed until 15:15 residents and businesses between Mclean Street and Mair street will be able to cross over to and from Portman Street until 09:30 and then after 11:45 to access and egress via the contraflow on Milnpark street. They will be unable to access and egress for a period between 09:30 and 11:45, however they can park to the south of Paisley Road West and cross the course on foot if necessary.

• West Street and Scotland Street will be closed between 04:15 and 13:30.

• Scotland Street between Carnoustie Street and Shields Road subway station will allow access and egress to Milnpark Street.

• Shields Road and St Andrew’s Drive will be closed between 06:30 and 14:00.

• No parking will be permitted anywhere on closed roads for the duration of the closures. Please note that any vehicles parked within the restricted areas will be removed by Glasgow City Council Parking Services contractors.

• Warning signage and ‘No Parking’ cones will clearly define these areas.

• Shields Rd, St Andrew’s Drive and Haggs Road (between Titwood Road and Shawmoss Road) will be closed between 06:30 and 14:00.

• Traffic will be permitted to cross St Andrew’s Drive at Nithsdale Road and Terregles Avenue until 11:15.

• Motorway traffic will be able to access and egress the M8 at junction 23, access the M77 (north and south bound) and exit the M77 (southbound only) at junction 1.

• Dumbreck Road between Haggs Road and Mosspark Boulevard will be closed between 06:30 and 15:00.

• Residents who have driveways that exit directly onto the race route should park on streets off the route if they need to access or egress during the closure period.

• No parking will be permitted anywhere on closed roads for the duration of the closures. Please note that any vehicles parked within the restricted areas will be removed by Glasgow City Council Parking Services contractors.

• Warning signage and ‘No Parking’ cones will clearly define these areas.

• Shields Rd, St Andrew’s Drive and Haggs Road (between Titwood Road and Shawmoss Road) will be closed between 06:30 and 14:00.

• Traffic will be permitted to cross St Andrew’s Drive at Nithsdale Road and Terregles Avenue until 11:15.

• Motorway traffic will be able to access and egress the M8 at junction 23, access the M77 (north and south bound) and exit the M77 (southbound only) at junction 1.

• Dumbreck Road between Haggs Road and Mosspark Boulevard will be closed between 06:30hrs and 15:00.

• Runners will be passing through Bellahouston Park between 12:00 and 14:30, which is a great place to support the runners. If you are free why not walk down and watch?

• No parking will be permitted anywhere on closed roads for the duration of the closures. Please note that any vehicles parked within the restricted areas will be removed by Glasgow City Council Parking Services contractors.

• Warning signage and ‘No Parking’ cones will clearly define these areas.

• Mosspark Boulevard between Bellahouston Drive and Dumbreck Road will be closed between 06:30 and 15:00.

• Residents to the south of Mosspark Boulevard will be able to access and egress from Bellahouston Drive and Corkerhill Road for the duration of the event.

• Paisley Road West between Helen Street and Seaward Street will be closed between 06:30 and 15:15. Traffic will still be able to travel eastbound from Helen Street to Broomloan Road.

• Northbound traffic will be permitted to use Fastlink lane to cross the Clyde Arc for the duration of the event. At north end of Clyde Arc all traffic will be turned left onto Finnieston Quay. The Clyde Arc will be reopened to south bound traffic at 16:30.

• Runners will be passing through Bellahouston Park between 12:00 and 14:30, which is a great place to support the runners. If you are free why not walk down and watch?

• No parking will be permitted anywhere on closed roads for the duration of the closures. Please note that any vehicles parked within the restricted areas will be removed by Glasgow City Council Parking Services contractors.

• Paisley Road West between Helen Street and Seaward Street will be closed between 06:30 and 15:15. Traffic will be able to travel eastbound from Helen Street to Broomloan Road.

• Between 06:30 and 11:30 event stewards will allow residents on the south side of Paisley Road West to cross and access the wider road network at the nearest point.

• Northbound traffic will be permitted to use Fastlink lane to cross the Clyde Arc for the duration of the event. At north end of Clyde Arc all traffic will be turned left onto Finnieston Quay. Clyde Arc will be reopened to south bound traffic 16:30.

• Lorne Street, Harvie Street and Govan Road (south and East of Festival Park) will be closed between 06:30 and 15:45.

• To egress this area during the run closures please park your vehicle on or just off Brand Street to the West of Harvie Street. This will allow egress via Brand Street and Whitefield Road.

• No parking will be permitted anywhere on closed roads for the duration of the closures. Please note that any vehicles parked within the restricted areas will be removed by Glasgow City Council Parking Services contractors.

• Warning signage and ‘No Parking’ cones will clearly define these areas.

• Broomielaw from Lancefield Quay to Saltmarket will be closed between 06:30 and 16:30.

• Traffic will be permitted to cross Glasgow Bridge (southbound), King George Bridge (northbound), Victoria Bridge (both directions) and Albert Bridge (both directions) until 09:00.

• A dedicated lane between Jamaica Street and Maxwell Street will allow access into St Enoch centre car park and the wider road network via Stockwell Place.

• Parking on the south side of Greendyke Street between Monteith Row and Turnbull Street will be suspended on Friday 2nd October.

• The Great Scottish Run will finish in Glasgow Green on Sunday 4th October. Runners will be crossing the finish line from 10:15 until 15:30. There will be lots to see and do within Glasgow Green, so why not come along and join in the fun.

• No parking will be permitted anywhere on closed roads for the duration of the closures. Please note that any vehicles parked within the restricted areas will be removed by Glasgow City Council Parking Services contractors.
