    • Celtic are set up to have a bad season and instantly recover from it and be ready to challenge again the following season and truth be told have been since the summer they hired O'neil We used to be too pre 2012 where even during poor seasons under mcleish and Le guen you could still comfort yourself with thinking "we will get the cunts back next season". Now everything is a project with a 2-3 year plan which was understandable in 2016 when we first arrived but the fact we are still here in 2024 after a title win and a European final with this same attitude is alarming . They have had two what you can class as disastrous seasons in that two decades spell . The Mowbary year and the 55 season. Some hilarious and fantastic memories from both of course but reality is they were back either seriously challenging or winning the league within the next season.
    • When where these days mate all my life every competition Rangers have played in has been important and cheered it’s always been about winning everything.  Only the last decade has this shite mentality creeped in.
    • His bottle isn't questioned on his own individual attacking stats and penalties  it's down to the fact he is captain and has been captain during numerous season collapses and cup exits. Is it all down to him ? No . But as captain he's going to take a lot of the flack for these failures .
    • Both things are true, IMO. His absence has had an impact, both as a player and simply as a left footed left back. It's clear the structure of the team is completely fucked, but it wasn't great against Motherwell either. Replacing Ridvan with Borna who is on his way out doesn't work as he's leaving and clearly not at his best, and using Sterling there leaves us unbalanced.  All of that said, we should still have been able to see off the last two opponents.
