    • maybe Rangers men was simply wishful thinking but I still stand by the fact that we need players who understand Scottish football and what it means to play for Rangers. You can have Scottish players who know what it means to play for Hearts or Dundee or whoever but the expectations are completely different. I'm not saying make McCausland captain or anything like that, I'm saying we need someone in there who will go the extra mile or that 10% thats been mentioned, we have had plenty foreigners in the past who "got it" I dont feel this currant generation of footballer thinks about anything other than pay day and it being a job, maybe Im too sentimental and times have changed though I can accept that.
    • Do you think the players for Dundee last night were Dundee men? They were busting an absolute gut both defensively and offensively. At one point in the second half when Dundee had someone at the back post unmarked it took about 4 seconds before our midfield were visible and were just jogging back. This isn’t because they don’t support Rangers they just have an incredibly bad mentality, you can’t argue they were knackered because none of them ended up on the grass with cramp
    • Literally doubling down and moving the goalposts now. 55% is not the VAST majority of anything you care to measure. You keep believing that though if it makes you happy.
    • Maybe something in this we have no heart  The past recipe was a Scottish spine to the team with foreign players giving us some flair and creativity All other Scottish teams beat us in one aspect hunger and desire if they can do it for them why not us
    • We simply don’t have the finances for it to happen in one window, which is literally what I said in my post.  What assets are we selling for close to 30 million, like they did, to fund a rebuild of a squad that’s already bloated with players like Tav, Lawrence, Dessers and Goldson who have years left on the best contracts of their lives, while going up against a side who now have an ingrained culture of winning, which is something we haven’t for over a decade now. It’s easy to say it’s based on absolutely  nothing when your counter argument is literally nothing more than “aye but Fat Ange did it so why can’t we”
