If there was a less contentious version would more clubs supporters sing it?

If we were to sing something along the lines of "the famine is long gone why don't you all get over it" whenever they play that vomit inducing athenry trash through their PA do you think it would catch on and become a regular feature for most clubs when slumming it on Kerrydale Street?

I'm sure a sizable majority of Scottish football fans find septic's ambulance chasing and use of the famine as a weapon against the big bad British quite sickening, and would welcome the chance to register their disaproval (tu)
