Nicky Law....rangers Are The Most Hated Club!

Nicky Law has told Hearts players to enjoy their celebrations because the most hayed team in Scotland will soon be back to haunt them.

The Rangers midfielder has praised the Jambo's for romping the Championship this season, clinching the title with seven games to play.

And Ibrox midfielder Law, who has long since accepted his clubs status in the eyes of rival players and fans as public enemy No1 said "Hearts have only lost one game and drawn three and that's fantastic".

" You don't be at teams 10-0 and by fours and fives each week if you're not a very good side". They're doing really well and have deservedly gone on to take the Championship this yeat. I'm full of praise for them".

"Their celebrations? First and foremost you have to say they have earned the tight to celebrate - and when anybody beats Ranges it is celebrated".

" No one is more hated than Rangers, so when teams get one over on us they celebrate, it doesn't happen often".

"This year has been very difficult for this football club and hopefully it will just make us more determined.

" We need to get up this season. If we can do that then I'm in no doubt that this club will come back strongly. Rangers will have their day again and more days than most clubs in the near future.

"The expectations at this club to me aback when I first arrived - last year was nothing in comparison with this season. I thought that was quite difficult but it has gone up another notch.

" However, we have probably brought that on ourselves so we don't really have anyone to blame. It has also been tough off the field, particularly the last few weeks when our home games were becoming even tougher than the away fixtures.

"But we hope we've came out the other side now. We know its just the start but if we can reinforce our result and performance against Hibs when we play Cowdenbeath that would be good".

The arrival of his former manager Stuart McCall has helped transform Law's performances in the last few weeks and unsurprisingly he is championing his gaffer to land the Ibrox gig for the long term.

Law has another year left on his contract but as many as 14 team mates are on deals that expire at the end of the season.

And he added " Of course he could do a job here beyond this summer. He has just played a big part in lifting this place in the last couple of weeks, even with his personality and character.

"On the training field he has been fantastic. Last week we changed and went to a 3-5-2 for Hibs which few were expecting.

"We started the work on the Monday and carried it through to the Sunday. Everybody knew their job and carried it out to a man. We left no stone unturned.

" The organisation has been terrific and hopefully we can go on now and secure wins that can take us back to the Premiership. One of his biggest achievements at Motherwell was improving players which he might have to do here if he gets the job full - time.

"He is certainly the man for the job with his eye for a player. I'd like to think he done enough so far to get the job. Anyone who has watched our last two games would agree we've improved.

" We took another step forward against Hibs. It is a performance that we know and felt we should have given all season. If we had done , wed certainly have taken Hearts all the way. People may say I'm biased but he's been fantastic for us and given everyone a lift. Its just the start".

Rangers have not won at home since a 3-1 win against Dumbarton on January 3 and today's opponents Cowdenbeath only went down 1-0 in December.

But Law said "The game can't come quickly enough for the lads. For the first time in a while were looking forward to our own game but we should be looming forward to every game at home.

" If we can win this game teams may start to look at us and maybe fear coming to Ibrox again.

"Were looking to continue where we left off last week. We want to put a marker out there and mayve send a little message. Hopefully teams will fear coming to play us again".

"Rangers will have their day again and more days than most clubs". Hope we can keep the momentum, Law agrees that the players have been poor this season. Let's draw a line in the sand, it's what we do from now till end of season that's important now.

Fair play to him, this is the best part of the interview though.

Where was all this sentiment at the start of the season?

Why did you think you could drop your standards significantly and no one would notice or care?

I sometimes wish the players were gagged from giving this kind of interview.

It does try to take fans for mugs. What gives you the right to 'draw a line in the sand' and move on from here??

We won't forget the fantastic 'effort' the players have put in this season for the fantastic wage they've received in return.

he's right. They won the league and they deserved it. They will celebrate it and we can accept that...because clubs the size of Hearts don't normally win cups let alone leagues. We dust ourselves down and accept that off field issues have cost us a proper season and we try and win the playoffs.

The most hated club? Really? I just thought its because Rangers are the worlds most successful club. Personally I have always had a wee soft spot in liking Rangers, can't understand why anyone else doesn't.

Fuck them, I'm happy.

For any lurkers GIRFUY.....WATP.
