Muff 245
Rafael Nadal of Spain officially moved into the No. 1 position on Monday with the release of the latest rankings of the Association of Tennis Professionals. Nadal has 6,700 points, ahead of Roger Federer at 5,930. Federer had held the top spot since early in February 2004, a record 237 consecutive weeks. Vamos Rafa  The greatest player on the Planet!!!!

Muff 245
No chance, he's finished. He can't cope with Rafa's brillance!
Amac9 2,060
I do think Federer will regain top spot
MaD CoW 3
I think Federer is still a good player and it still remains to be seen whether he'll come back or he has got his mind on other projects!

the goal machine 7,801
No chance, he's finished. He can't cope with Rafa's brillance! Federer is only 27. He'll be back IMO.
Muff 245
I don't think he has the heart anymore. He wanted the Olympics more than anything and he failed at the 1st hurdle.
the goal machine 7,801
I don't think he has the heart anymore. He wanted the Olympics more than anything and he failed at the 1st hurdle. It is a similar situation to Bjorn Borg but I think Federer's different though. He still got a gold medals in the doubles though and he looked delighted. I predict that he will win the US Open. Muff 245
I can't see past Rafa for the US. I think Federer will crash out early.
bluenose_72 198
Judging by hard court form then Nadal, Djokovic and even Murray are the form players going into the US Open(which starts next Monday).
