Gaz52 11,837
I messed up the official match thread, didn't realise there already was one. What's everyone's views on our new centre-half Kiernan? Seeing mixed reviews, I think he's doing a good job alongside Wilson, he doesn't shy out challenges, quality in the air and comfortable passing the ball out from the back. Anyone have doubts about him? If so, why?
Courtyard Bear 41,357
Good solid defender who needs to learn how to pass the ball succesfully more than 10 yards.
G.E.C. 18,769
Never released how vocal he is until yesterday. Could hear him barking out instructions and then of course nearly ripping Sheils head off.Good leader.
bluenoz 30,835
Good solid CH and no complaints from me but based on Ball's one performance, I think he may become an all round better player.
piperpete 3,186
Once he settles down and him and Wikson become a unit he will be a great signing, im sure T2Ws are working hard on his distribution and his time on the ball everyday in training. Marky. 6,927
Wins everything in the air, as expected.Able to order people about into position well. But he has been caught out a few times be it concentration levels for positioning or just generally on the deck.He will grow into a player. Big Al 55 9,248
I think it's very very early. Commanding in the air, both he and Wilson are trying to come to terms with each other and it will take time to develop a partnership. Both are skilful and comfortable on the ball, both can pick a pass and move forward with the ball. They need time to develop into a partnership. Not sure how much they will be tested week in week out though.
kaiser1041 9,088
I like him.hes aggressive commanding and is growing with each game.
skinnymate1690 624
Fairly comfortable as a defender, think he needs to work on his passing though
Smile 26,605
Average player who will get found out against decent opposition.
somersetbear 74
Good defender Shiels stitched him up on a pass,he really let him have it verbally nearly cost us a goal.
Jimfanciesthedude 24,540
he's young and working with a brand new CH partner, that will make anyone look poorer at firsthowever he also turns like a bus at times to chase a ball in behind, he would never have caught the boy against ayr like ball did
Gartsherriederry 81
Average defender and his distribution is terrible .after the first couple of games I thought he would get better once he's settled but there's no improvement as of yet , him and wes nearly give me a heart attack when they are on the ball
ianferguson 2,619
Don't think he needs too much work on his passing but he needs to relax a little and learn to play the correct pass. Also think he and and Wilson need Eustice to protect them.
CaptainDandy 834
He's ok, he's no Lee McCulloch though.

Ardrossan Dave 75
Good solid defender who needs to learn how to pass the ball succesfully more than 10 yards.Do you go to the games mate? Not being cheeky but the reason I ask is that sometimes things can look a bit different on telly.St Mirren game he was firing perfectly weighted long range passes all game. I honestly don't think he missed the target once. He did miss a few yesterday but imo he's a decent passer of the ball.

davwal27 13
Good solid player who wins everything in the air, will only get better imo. Need to remember too that these players haven't even played 10 games together yet so just think how good they'll be in a few months time with everyone gelling nicely ? There's far more risk attached to our play and that extends to how high we play. We will concede goals this season quite often with balls in behind against lesser opposition, but we'll outscore them at the other end and a big part of the reason why is because we're so aggressive in attacking and pressing the ball. I think, if we come up against Celtic this year, we'd move to a back 3 to combat the likelihood of them scoring. All other sides are fair game. Gaz52 11,837
I think one thing is evident, Danny Wilson is a cut above the rest of the defenders in this league, the boy oozes class and composure.

Carsons Army 4,146
You deserve some of those shifty eye things.Aye, there does seem a bit of a stench from him. He doesn't seem to like or rate any of our players.Maybe he thinks the Gallowgate Gallacticos are world beaters.
