RangersMedia 35,961
I might be getting ahead of myself here, but I think we are. IMO, there isn't a lot between the "top" teams in the Championship (Hibs, QOTS, Falkirk, St Mirren) and all of the Premiership bar Celtic, Aberdeen, Hearts & maybe Dun Utd. We've shown we can ease past them the teams in this league. We're 8 from 8, on fire, scoring goals and we have a lot of momentum. There are still a few question marks over our defence and big Wes in goals but when we sign Eustace we'll be a lot more solid. All thanks go to Warbs, Weir and the players for making me believe we can actually compete. Last season when we drew Celtic in the league cup semi...I think deep down we all knew we would lose (though few of us expected the shitebag performance from the team that day). This season if we get them, I say bring it on. Malmo showed how you can beat them by playing a good passing style of football.
Wearethepeople72 1,844
I definitely think that we are.The tarriers are the only ones who are ahead of us at the moment IMO. However, I think we are more than capable of beating them on a one off occasion because they aren't that great themselves.
B1872 20,441
I think it proved against Hivs we are far from the finished article and defensively we'll get found out against the top teams in the SPL. If we get by St Johnstone and a decent draw in the quarter final then who knows!

BananaMan 63
I'd love to win the Scottish Cup some time soon. There's certainly enough talent in the squad to get us there!
Gary Wilmot's Wedding Brek 299
It's obviously possible for us to win a cup. The problem is we've been abysmal at the back; we continue to let too many clear cut chances be made too easily.Hibs created enough chances to win the last game against us, and would have won if it weren't for poor finishing. Hibs are shite. If we played a decent SPFL side, we'd get punished, and possibly not find it so easy to score sufficient goals to come back from.Personally speaking, I don't think we'll won the league or Scottish cup. I would, however, be speechless if we didn't win the Petrofac cup.
MrMckee 3,397
I think we are and i reckon we will see a cup final this year if we get some half decent draws. we will defiantly win the petrofac at least

If we get by St Johnstone and a decent draw in the quarter final then who knows!Tbh against St Mirren there were a few jittery moments too when that winger McMullen got the ball and just ran directly at our defence. I think the St Johnstone game will give us a better indication of where we're at right now.

CaptainDandy 834
I'd say we definitely are. I think we have a chance of a getting a treble this year. The league, challenge cup and perhaps the league cup. Would the Scottish Cup though to get into Europe. I think Warburton will be really pushing for the Scottish this year. Dutchy 1,200
I think we'll win a few cups this year and that would be great as I've got a quid on us winning the treble at 375/1. To hell if it doesn't win, the Scottish cup would be a great one to win and that to me will be the big test on how ready we are.
G.E.C. 18,633
Aberdeen, Hearts and Celtic will be the toughest SPL opponents. Beat any of them and we have a chance.
Zappa6995 3,620
Not trying to be smart but I haven't got a clue as I dont pay attention to the goings on in the other leagues. No real reason why we shouldnt have a decent chance though. BlueThunder 8,439
As Zappa above, i genuinely don't know because I don't watch any Scottish football outside us. I suppose the St Johnstone match will be a good indicator. I still feel we need someone like Eustace in midfield for some matches. Hopefully he will be in the squad soon. I think Gidion is very talented but he is slight and won't make crunching tackles so a player who does those things in beside him is necessary. BurdyBurdy 4
no,QOTS`s goal showed again today we seem vulnerable to the long ball. Our two CB need to up their game and although this might seem picky after our great play, results and goals for,the fact we haven`t scored with a single header is a concern,we seem to pose no threat at corners! Not criticising just think we are a work in process and still room for improvement!
RFC55 107,780
We don't need McNeil nor hay
BlueThunder 8,439
I don't think Zelalem went in for a single tackle today never mind a crunching one I actually remember one, near the touchline close to the camera. Stands out in my mind because it had been waiting for him to make one. Credit to the lad for carrying on after Miller did him twice though. plumbGER 24,518
I think we can beat anyone with the team we have at present, even with the shite we had the last few season we were able to up our game to beat Spl opposition. We do need to tighten up at the back but our defence isn't any worse than any defence for the Spl and i think Eustace will be a shrewd signing to help protect from quick counters and long through balls. Stands out in my mind because it had been waiting for him to make one. Credit to the lad for carrying on after Miller did him twice though.Aye, fair play to him. He took it well. There'll be plenty more of that shit this year until a ref grows a pair and starts giving our boys some protection.
Dutchy 1,200
I listened to a bit of the coverage on BBC Sportscence yesterday and hertz had a shite game, the sheep Thistle. septic are the only ones to worry about and they're not firing on all cylinders yet either. We could certainly beat them the way we're playing, never mind the way they're scrapping through games.
onefootwillie 1,518
A would love us to win one of the main cups this year ( league or Scottish) but think we might just struggle in defence and if we have an off day up front could miss out. I suspect we will meet a few teams who will try to kick us off the park and the way the refs have performed so far this season we will get no protection
Moody Blue 9,282
Whilst cup success would be great, it's all about winning that league and getting back to where we belong. I'd take going out in the next round if it meant we won the league.
Orange&Blue 130
We haven't been truly tested yet, we are improving and more testing games will help (the Perth mob), if the cup draws are favourable then yes we have a chance.
