BBC (who else) reporting on Republic boss John Delaney caught on film singing pro ira songs but then goes on to even story up by stating that it was on same night England fans sang anti ira songs.Delaney States that it was not meant for public consumption and anyway it is quite common on Republic team coach(shocker). Compare BBC,s handling of this story to w ay they tried to destroy Donald Findlay and it's yet more proof of type of scum running bbc

The media coverage of this story is disgraceful. Compare the coverage in the press concerning England fans singing anti-IRA chants.

The guy should be forced go resign, but typically he has no shame and doesn't even apologise for singing the song, but only apologises for causing offense.

It seems to be acceptable for people from ROI to be pro-IRA even though they are a proscribed terrorist in that country too.

Would there have been a ROI without the IRA?

Totally agree, I was just backing up your point that they do have support within the ROI and probably always will.

Indeed. It isn't seen as glorifying terrorists in that country. Bear in mind most (if not all) of their GAA clubs are named after some 'Irish Freedom Fighter' that will tell you the mentality of the country.

But there are plenty on here who will tell you the media isn't biased. That it's us who are the real bigots etc.

Anyone in a prominent role like his caught singings songs in favour of a proscribed terrorist organisation should be sacked on the spot.

That he hasn't and won't even think of resigning tells you all you need to know.

Bigotry and Sectarianism is acceptable in society as long as it's not directed at catholics or the catholic religion.
