bluenose_72 198
In form Napoli travel to the San Siro looking to continue their impressive run of late. Both sides had 1-0 away wins last weekend and home wins in midweek. Pato stole the show in this fixture on his debut in January but it was Napoli who won at the San Paulo to dent Milan's bid for 4th position last season. Players to watch - current World Player of the Year, Kaka, has scored the winner in Milan's last 2 games and will look to get on the scoresheet once again. For Napoli, in demand Marek Hamsik will be key for them in midfield having scored in this fixture last season. Should be a great game between 2 of Serie A's best sides. Prediction - AC Milan 3-2 Napoli.

bluenose_72 198
Maggio has been sent off for Napoli right before half time! He had already been booked and then he needlessly brought down Jankulovski!

bluenose_72 198
Time for Channel 4 to get football Italia back with James Richardson and Gabriele Marcotti as the presenters. I think the standard of football is a lot better than what people think. Also some cracking players at the smaller clubs!
bluenose_72 198
Penalty for Milan. Kaka crossed the ball and it hit off the Napoli players arm. Kaka steps up to take the penalty...and misses Excellent save by Iezzo
bluenose_72 198
1-0 TO MILAN! Excellent free kick from Ronaldinho and it deflected in off the head of Denis! It might go down as Dinho's goal.
Muff 245
Just have to look at some of the teams at the top or near it - Udinese, Napoli, Genoa and then you have some big ones near the botton, Roma to name one. These clubs have some real good players playing for them - Zalayeta, Hamsik, Maggio, Motta, vanden Borre, Milito, Papastathopoulos, Palladino, Criscito, Quagliarella(sp) Di Natale.... Some terrific players in there! Apparently the Udinese - Genoa game today was a cracker. Many people would rather watch that than a game like Bolton - Man City(didn't watch it but going by the thread it was dire!).
bluenose_72 198
That's it finished 1-0 to Milan! It was end to end stuff until Maggio was sent off late in the first half after that it was all one way traffic and Milan deservedly won and I think that puts them top of Serie A just ahead of Inter and Udinese! Games like that are usually better than the likes of Arsenal v Liverpool and Chelsea v Liverpool - the Premiership is not all it's cracked up to be. That game this afternoon was brutal - it was like watching a sunday pub game.
