Dutchy 1,200
Ah, Rangers and signing players with knee injuries? Does sound a bit strange and we'll only be able to tell if it's worth it if he signs, and how he gets on after signing. No one has a magic ball, but there can and should be concerns about his injuries. Ted McMinn never knew what he was doing, and nether did any of the defenders that came up against him. Crickey, what a picture watch the Tin Man run up the wing, legs and arms going everywhere. If you wanted to see entertainment at a football match, there was nobody better to provide it. He made folks smile.

I remember big Tin Man Ted tearing Dundee United apart in a League Cup semi at Hampden against Dundee United. Set up one and scored the other.Him and Cooper on the wings was a lesson in pure, unadulterated entertainment. McMinn was man of the match that night.Worth noting that Ted was also man of the match in the first Old Firm league encounter of the Souness era. When he was off the boil he was murder but when he was on form, he was virtually unplayable.
Bears&Reds 460
No transfer fee, he won't be on a massive salary and a one year contract, yeah its a massive gamble indeed!! The signings that have been made over the last 3 years have been massive gambles, big salaries and long term contracts this is not.
jamess 3,422
Must be someone with a few more years in them who would be available for the same money. Just seems too old and short term for me.
bluenoz 30,808
There is no gamble. He is here for four weeks to have his knee and overall fitness assessed by everyone ( including Eustace ). If at that time he passes with flying colours, it will be based on a calculated evaluation. No risk involved and no contract offered until that time.
