Dundee United withdraw ban appeal

Recommended Posts

Crap!

Thought it deserved a mention since it had an impact on our game.

Must admit, they played the rules, would expect us to do the same, still annoying though.

Played a blinders. Clearly showed they were worried about us tho. Defo need something done so things like this can't be done in future. Him in the dugout held them together tbh.

Its the stupid rules that allow this nonsense that need sorted. Of course if it was a Rangers manager that had done this all hell would break loose but that's par for the course.

Exactly. If it had been us the corrupt cunts would have convened a hearing 5 mins after we lodged the appeal and thrown it out there and then. As usual though, we are treated differently to everyone else. What's to be expected when you're the most successful team in the country and the rest are jealous I suppose.

Did we not do something similar back in the 2011/12 season with McCulloch? Think he clearly elbowed a St. Mirren player and we stuck an appeal in (for a clear red card) so he was eligible to play the OF game?

Yep. Although we didn't withdraw our appeal so not as bad as Scumdee

Rangers red card appeal means Lee McCulloch can face Celtic

Rangers will have midfielder Lee McCulloch available to face Celtic on Wednesday after the club appealed his red card at St Mirren on Saturday.

The experienced McCulloch was dismissed for aiming an elbow at Graham Carey in Rangers' 2-1 defeat in Paisley.
