Absolute Class!

Brilliant performance there. Tavernier (is that how you spell it?), what can I say? If he continues on in this form, then he is going to be worth millions!!

Waghorn - should've had a double hat-trick. Done everything but score. Needs to take more time with his shots.

Lee Wallace - Looks like a new signing, should've scored. Seemed to get tired as the game went on, which seems to reinforce the theory that his fitness has been the problem over the last two seasons.

Barrie McKay - the time out on loan seems to have done the trick. Seems to know that the only way is down after you leave the Gers. Looking like the player we had in the first half of the 3rd division.

Centre backs - strolled the game. Not much else to be said.

Kenny Miller - looking to be a brilliant impact sub. Took his goal well and linked up well. Still got a couple years left in the tank.

Sheils - got man of the match, dunno why? He didn't do anything wrong, played quite well, but the were better players on the park today.

Holt - came on for Law, straight replacement and had similar impact as law. Both played well.

Halliday - Needs to remember he's a player, not a fan. I can see him getting a lot of bookings if he doesn't cool down. Played well otherwise.

Keeper - Had nothing to do. Positioning was a little better, but still seems to get dragged to close to his near post. Not a lot to say, did he even have a save to make?

Clark - not Rangers class unfortunately. I almost forgot to add him in.

Templeton - Got a goal, some nice touches. Needs to play more to get his confidence back.

Management - Seem to have the team playing the way they want, the way the said they wanted them to play. Looking to be a class act, really pleased that we got them in, they weren't my first choice, but I really like what I have seen so far. Great to be impressed by our football. When was the last time any of us could say that eh?

Can see a packed Ibrox for the St Mirren game, hopefully the fans will be in better voice.

Great match, well done to all the boys. It's great to have a Gers team that is good to watch again, God how I missed it.

Clark set up Tavernier did he not, and he also put Waghorn through for a stick on goal, great save from their keeper... Clark isn't as bad as everyone makes out.... he set up Miller last week for one as well didn't he?

Totally agree, plus I think that the new style of play will bring out the best in him.

You have to laugh with the people on here who for the last 6 or 7 years seemed to think that attacking attractive football equals loosing football for some strange reason, it's a travesty we didn't start this revolution in the 3rd Division, but at least W&W are here now to give us what we need.

There was a poster on here who said Waghorn didn't have a first touch or a decent lay-off

Hope he was watching today.

Boy looks a class act, just needs to take his time. That pass out to Wallace? 110 degrees from the way he was facing. I didn't even notice there was a pass like that on, fuck knows how he not only seen it, but pulled it off.

This new systen and new training method seems to have vastly improved players who were shadows last season. I am mightily impressed by their improvement in the games I have watched and hope that this form change continues in the games to come.

Management impressed me. Subbing Miller on turned the game imo.

When was the last time we had a manager who would make good double subs 60 minutes into a game?

The Little General!!

Adcocaat.

Never Forget Never Forgive

Yes, I just don't think he has the ability I expect from a Rangers forward.

That's twice I've seen the new Gers - last week at Hivs and today. Continually playing high tempo attacking football eventually wears teams down.

As soon as their tempo drops we go to town on them. The fitness is now there and the philosophy is fantastic. Still loads of rough edges but this is very very exciting.

Another great benchmark next Friday. St Mirren will be fitter and will sit in keeping their shape etc. so I don't expect them to flag in the last 20-30m nor leave themselves open to the counter attack. So an early lead will be vital next week.

Incidentally - 39 shots on goal and 27 on target - whoooooph!!!!!

Only thing il disagree with is Barrie McKay I didn't think he played well at all got pushed off the ball a lot and didn't go by his man often ..was the sane against hibs albeit he set one up in that game ..we need to use different wide men or sign two wingers as templeton has had loads of chances to impress and fails time and time again ..other than that the team is looking walk good and Wilson snd kiernan need to be more commanding they lose too many headers and could be punished against better opposition

Dick Advocaat made a sub on the 60th min in pretty much every game we played at that time.

Was that what you were hinting at?

Certainly looks like they're able to resurrect the careers of some of the players some of the players who looked to be on their way out. I'm really feeling optimistic about what we can achieve this season. Sure there may be the odd hiccup along the way when teams decide to park the bus, but if they do they might still get a battering for not trying.

I hear we've sold just over 30,000 ST's, if the results keep coming I'm sure that'll creep up as the weeks go by. With 1/2 season books I could see us ending up with around 40,000 sold, if not more.

Not being promoted last season is looking like the best thing that could have happened to us.

thank fuck many on here didn't get their way with the (McCall has earned his chance, to get his own players in and have a pre season) bullshit, McCall earned fuck all he was a slight improvement on McCoist and friends but was still terrible, obviously us getting promoted and Warburton getting the job anyway would have been the ideal scenario but I would rather be in the Championship under Warburton than the Premiership under McCall.
