JCDBigBear 10,810
As title there will be a minute's silence tomorrow in memory of the 226 people killed at Quintinshill 100 years ago. 214 of those were Scottish soldiers heading to Gallipoli. http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/9333-minute-of-silence

We Will Follow Rangers 12,917
Saw the documentary about this last night, horrific, mind you, making it to Gallipoli wouldn't have been much of an escape.
Dutchy 1,200
And silence is the right way to go about it. Not this European/Italian applause for folks that can't control themselves for a minute.

macranger 296
My wee boys pipe band played at a service in larbert for this last night. The troop train left from there. Camelon Pipe Band piped the troops onto the train, then after the accident, they signed up en mass to replace the lost band members. Was actually very moving. Sad that it's a disaster that is not very well known.
