the goal machine 7,798
Anyone else read this? It's the story of Guardiola's first season at Bayern.About halfway through it and it's probably the best football book I've ever read. The access the author got is ridiculous and it goes into amazing detail about his tactics, coaching methods, his personality etc. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. Broxi 11,473
Poor Javi. Shame he hasn't manage to stay fit under Guardiola, was sensational in Heynckes' final season. He did start team training today though.
TheKingObv 10,639
How does he know exactly what Guardiola is saying in private conversations? With Thiago for example

He got to spend as much time with them as he wanted as long as he didn't write about it as the season was going on.

Completely different to what I had thought of him, thought he might be a bit up his own arse and demand football be played in a certain way but he seems quality. JamieD 18,893
I've flicked through it and it looks unusually good for a football book. Pep is an enthusiastic fella. Every other page just seems to be him saying stuff like "This guy, Robben? He's fucking incredible."

RangersMedia 35,961
The book is brilliant. Definite must read for football fans. His love for Lahm and Thiago shines through. His dedication to rondos taking the basis of every one of his training sessions. I won't ruin it for those who want to read it but his encounters with Garry Kasparov are quality. Clemdog 39,389
Sounds like a great read.Like others I think that he can come across as an arrogant type, so it'll be interesting to get a true perspective.
