Fuck!

More aimless overpassing. I fear.

We really need to learn one word...

SHOOT!!!

Its a joy tbh. I enjoy watching us again because of our style.

The days of crying into your pint before games are long gone.

Mind two seasons ago sitting at Ibrox mind January temperature -1 and we drew 1-1 with Annan.

I had serious concerns if we would ever reach the heights again.

Whilst I agree with your sentiment I would be happier if we took more chances on goal! How much happier would we be if we were scoring for fun!

Meaning we aren't allowed to analyse and comment on performance because of the last few terrible seasons.

As paying Customers we have every right to demand that the boy contributes more.We aren't a charity.

I agree but a little at a time. I am happy as it stands I expect us to push and get even better on both fronts style of play and chance conversion. So good to be talking about how we can get even better other than will we get through v Albion rovers in the cup haha.

I hope none of this passes through to him on the park, aye the boy could be a bit more direct but no doubt if he shoots and it goes way over the bar - folk will slate him for that as well. I think the instructions need to come from the gaffer as the problem could be that he doesn't want to give the ball away so is keeping it simple.

Stuff we moaned about the past few seasons ironically :D

if the boy want to play for arsenal he better not start shooting from further out than the pen spot haha

I think I am right in saying he is 18 years old. Yes, there are things for him to work on but folk used to compain Barry Ferguson only made siways passes. I'd like to see him here for longer actually, as he develops the physical side of the game and finds his shooting boots.

I think if there is the slightest chance we loose posession ie corners, long balls, goalie kicking it from hands, shooting (when theres no real chance/confidence of hitting the target) then we will always play the odds of keeping the ball - it is the Gaffer's philosophy. We do however need to hedge our bets sometimes and let one go! despite the Gaffer's philosophy...

The boy needs to get more involved and become more clinical but I'm happy he's staying, highly rated young prospect from a top BPL club extending his stay looks good on us as a club, especially while we're in the Championship.

I'm certain Zelalem will succeed in the game but I think we got him a year too early.

He can probably recycle possession all day long but that is not a problem we will have in this league whether he is in the team or not. I just think that both Law and Shiels can offer more goal threat and are stronger in the tackle (yes, even Law). He will end up a better player than either of them but that doesn't help us right now.

18 years of age, has shown more than once or twice what an exceptional talent he already is. Be great to have him on board for the rest of the season, people have to remember hes here for a reason, to develop. If we can watch him develop by taking more chances and pass more effectively with long balls then I think it will be happy faces all round. Hes already really good at winning the ball back for his build and his short passing is exceptional at this stage of his career.
