davyh27 0
Just shows how good the guy actually is that he could win a major with that injury. The guy is the best golfer ever, by a country mile!

kplfishtank 4,652
cynically you could say a white south african having a pop at a successful black player hope im wrong but it seemed a foolish thing to say
dummiesoot 15,965
so much for goosen saying that tiger was faking injury. actually BBC sport said the exact same thing during their Sunday night commentary.
Danny 9
Goosen must be wanting the ground to swallow him up now. Won't be able to play in the USA again for a long time without getting booed.
KERRZO 5
To be fair I dont think he was saying Woods wasnt injured but more so that he was playin with the fact he was. Goosen was correct in saying that he only seemed to wince every time he hit a bad shot and never when he hit a good one, well at least thats the way I saw it!!! rfc_no1fan 13
I have no idea how he managed to complete 5 rounds with a broken leg and damaged cruciates Greatest sportsman ever
vasily09 0
With Tiger sidelined maybe the Yanks will have a chance in the Ryder Cup now....
Danny 9
I have no idea how he managed to complete 5 rounds with a broken leg and damaged cruciates Greatest sportsman ever I believe Wayne Biggins would have something to say about that.
Danny 9
With Tiger sidelined maybe the Yanks will have a chance in the Ryder Cup now.... Cynical and dry. I like it. But being honest historically the reason Europe does better is we work much better as a team. USA doesn't work so well in harmony with each other. Too individual. J_RFC87 752
With Tiger sidelined maybe the Yanks will have a chance in the Ryder Cup now.... We've won it most times he's been there. Even if he was there, I would still think we would win it.
rfc_no1fan 13
With Tiger out, it surely devalues the remaining 2 majors this season. I dont think the other golfers will agree with that. A major is a major
alk3 438
With Tiger out, it surely devalues the remaining 2 majors this season. tiger has played in around 50 majors.. its hardly a case of he shows up - he wins.
vasily09 0
I dunno, it would be like winning Wimbledon without Federer. Whilst Tiger doesn't always win, he is nearly always there or there abouts come the final day. I just think to win a tournament when the undisputed best player is not playing, devalues it slightly. Not at all - you beat the best that are there at the time Does it devalue Faldos 6 majors that there was no genuine star player around in that era? of course it doesnt
