Take a look at the expression on the faces of the players in the first link:

Then compare it to the second link from November and see the difference:

Absolutely night and day. Regardless of your views on McCall's suitability for the long term I think if we had him and Kenny Black in at the start of the season we'd have won the league with this team.

I suppose the one positive is that its crunch time and it looks like we've got the right attitude at the right time.

Still makes my blood boil when you see McCoist laughing away with the players when we were in a sorry state.

It helps to be happy at your work but I think Ally and co went a wee bit overboard.

I'm sure if you ask any of the current squad if they've learned anything new since McCall came in they would say a lot.

mccoist was always one of the lads and not a manager, when he left and McDowall took over everything caved in on itself. McCall has at the very least managed to motivate a squad that now appear to respect him, not muck around with him.

Aye there has to be a line in the sand and I dont think there was one, the players referred to him as Coisty did they not? I'm sure I can mind an interview where a player used a nickname for him.

Team bonding and spirit is all good and we should have it but it was basically just a carry on for them, like at school when the teacher left the class and you started lobbing bits of paper about and hitting the fatty next to you with your ruler.

Walter being the teacher, mccoist being the cool kid, his arse the fatty and the ball a ruler?

Tbh i dont see much of a difference in their faces. I can see it on the pitch right enough.

Ally was a shite manager and is acting the right cunt about this payoff. But i doubt half the stories about his training etc, i just think he wasnt very good.

Things were a joke.

I was at MP to meet the players and Ally with a bunch of terminally ill and disabled children.

Ally turned up late and didn't even take a second to talk to anybody or sign any of the kids autograph books.

He was also very clearly hungover.

Disgraceful if you ask me.

There is also another poster on here, can't mind their name, but it was a girl anyway who can vouch for what I've said here.

Also, am not an Ally hater, he was my hero growing up and I still respect him.

Templeton or Shiels, I think. Comments were quoted in the media shortly after McCall took charge.

If it was Templeton, maybe that is why he's apparently been frozen out.

I seem to remember McCall saying the comments were disrespectful. McCall and Ally are obviously good pals.

Nah it's believable as I'm sure Willhelm or Adoniram said something similar about Ally letting an elderly chap down, had arranged to visit him or something and didn't turn up.

No it will be the fact templeton got chances under McCall and proved in them he was shite and not up to it hence why he's no been seen since

I don't need to compare photos to know we have improved and that mccoist isn't a manager.

My fuckin couch could tell you that.

Your couch would have probably done a better job at taking the training sessions than mccoist.

It looks like the players are actually training to win a match, makes a nice change. Still a few smiley photos wouldn't go amiss so we didn't think the poor wee lambs were being asked to do too much for their wad every week.

Recall a photo during McCoist's time with McCulloch's elbow leaning on McCoist's shoulder while talking on his mobile - during a training session!!!!! That summed it up for me...................

Bollicks - oh and let's ignore all the times he has went out of his way to help charities!

Folk read far to much into a photo on here - it could be that 2 minutes later they are all laughing - ditto with the photo of The squad laughing during ally's time - 30 seconds later they could all be serious again. Haters hate - some on this thread, including the OP prove that time and again.
