Having taken many trains that pass the scumdome, there have been a few times I've been unfortunate enough to be in the same carriage as a group of the scum, so I'm surprised that they suddenly seem keen on taking action after years of inaction have exposed the public to their bile on these trains.

Keeping up the old double standards again, eh?

Hearts fans hunted by police over 'appalling' drunken and sectarian behaviour on trains

UP to 10 supporters were involved in the first incident when they caught a train from Edinburgh Waverley to Glasgow Queen Street before the club’s SPFL clash with Celtic.

AT LEAST 40 Hearts fans are being hunted by police over “appalling” behaviour on trains last weekend.
Up to 10 supporters were involved in the first incident when they caught a train fromEdinburgh Waverley to Glasgow Queen Street before the club’s SPFL clash withCeltic .
Passengers complained after the group, who had been drinking, shouted and repeatedly swore after boarding after 10.30am.
A group of more than 30 fans boarded the Bristol Temple Meads to Glasgow Central service at Haymarket station at 1.15pm.
British Transport Police said some of them shouted, swore and used religiously offensive language during the journey.
Officers are using video footage to investigate and urged witnesses to come forward.
BTP chief inspector David Marshall said: “This sort of behaviour is appalling and absolutely unacceptable. Why football supporters feel the need to behave in such a manner is beyond me.”

Hearts have also released an official statement over the supporters' behaviour on the club's website.
The statement read: "Heart of Midlothian Football Club strongly condemns any anti-social and offensive behaviour carried out by a small group of its supporters at the weekend.
"The club works tirelessly to create a family friendly atmosphere at Tynecastle and in the surrounding area and we expect all supporters to take these standards with them whenever they travel to see Hearts.
"We apologise to those individuals who were rightly upset by what seems to have been totally unacceptable behavior and can assure them that the individuals in question do not represent the club or our values.
"This minority of fans claiming to support the club are not welcome at Hearts and we will be working very closely with British Transport Police to help identify any individual who is besmirching the good name of Heart of Midlothian Football Club and bring them to justice."

Had a look on the Hearts forum. One or two 'it wuz Rangers fans' being trotted out already.

More proof that all fans have cuntish elements. It just tends to be made out to be worse and more indicative of a deep rooted nastiness in the club if it's Rangers fans involved.

If it's other clubs it's just Juan Guy up to his dirty, definitely non-representative of our club and our fanbase as a whole, tricks again.

Seems to have been Juan's bigger brother, Thirty Guy, at it this time, though.

As much as I hate Hearts, it seems now that its them and us being targeted, people sing and shout and swear every week on trains and not just at football, but it seems only clubs with Protestant links are the ones being blamed or having fans arrested

The polis are looking for some mhanks now. Wonder how long it'll take the DR to post an article about these 'football fans', as they'll no doubt call them.
